Cinco de Mayo is awesome because it provides you with a free pass to drink an excessive amount of margaritas and dance like an idiot to salsa music all day. Although the drinking will have to be postponed until after work (boo you, adulthood), the cultural celebration of loud Mexican music, shaking of random percussion instruments, and sporting of sombreros has already begun throughout my office– and only with a mild amount of resistance, I might add.
As soon as I saw this tunic, which is actually technically a dress, from Walk Trendy, I knew I needed it in my Mexican-themed wardrobe for later today. The lace sleeve detail is just too fabulous to not mention, so I’ve mentioned it. Paired with my new Aztec BaubleBar earrings and GiGi New York Uber Clutch, I’m obsessed with my own outfit. Full Cinco de Mayo fashion details at the bottom of this post! Oh, and please don’t mind my awkward display of “festive” posing. If you haven’t already figured it out, I’m pretty much the world’s biggest dork.

Happy Cinco!
I actually live in Mexico, and we do not celebrate Cinco de Mayo here, but it´s a fun tradition I miss from the States. LOVE the top (or anything Mexican-inspired for that matter) and the earrings!
