I absolutely adore summer. Nothing excites me more than a day on the lake, complete with tanning, girlfriends & mimosas. However, with the gorgeous Florida weather comes the unfortunate potential for sun damage, wrinkles, and overall dryness//irritation. After dozens of days spent laying directly in the sun on pool rafts (see below), coupled with a cruise in the Virgin Islands, my skin is in dire need of supplemental hydration… or I’m going to start looking like a prune.

Although I’ve gotten ample compliments on my tan, I’m secretly itching every 7 seconds as my skin decides to start peeling (just in time for a bunch of photoshoots- thanks, skin)…the point is that it’s essential to have a great moisturizer and wrinkle cream to combat the inevitable signs of aging, which are primarily accelerated by sun exposure. Well, Hydroxatone’s anti-aging formula has my certified and oh-so-elusive stamp of approval. Their AM/PM Anti-Wrinkle Complex is worth every penny. This silk-like formula is made of Hyaluronic Acid, Matrixyl3000, Argireline, and SPF 15 (scientific mumbo jumbo), providing increased smoothness//softness, collagen, anti-aging peptides, as well as protection against the sun’s harmful rays.
Now when I mentioned the formula was”silk-like,” I mean it’s silky. My skin is acne-prone, and I would never feel comfortable using this, or any anti-wrinkle complex, in my T-zone. However, I use it as a hydrating eye cream in the morning and evening, as well as a spot treatment for any areas of dryness. When I was peeling from my week in the Caribbean, this stuff was GOD SENT. It makes your skin feel soft and clean, and it doesn’t leave a nasty shiny residue behind.
Oh, and the best part? After about 8 weeks of use, I can tell a definite difference in the super attractive crows feet on my face. I don’t get the, “You look tired today, Steph” salutations anymore, either, which is pleasant. I highly recommend Hydroxatone’s Anti-Wrinkle Complex for anyone who is looking for a great daily eye cream, wrinkle cream, and extreme moisturizer– all in one.
Do any of y’all have an eye cream you can’t live without? Do you even use eye cream? I’ll admit, I didn’t…until I started getting eye wrinkles- omggg. Now it’s an essential part of my beauty routine. Anti-aging regime engage (yes, I’m 25)!
Wonderful post.^^

Thanks for the review. I needed this stuff 10 years ago, when my acne was really bad. Anyway, I might buy it for the hubby because he still gets acne.
He'll thank you, trust me. I love this stuff!

I have dry itchy skin as a result of my polycythemia vera. I wonder if this would help my skin feel better too.
It may! It's extremely gentle, which I love, without an excessive amount of oil. I'd go to Sephora or Ulta first and request a sample first, though, since a full bottle is $60+.
Have a great weekend!
Thanks for the review. I'll have to check it out. Your tan does look great. My skin is still pretty young looking (at 43) but the times that it is dry is when my age starts to show. Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate.
Agreed! Hydration is so important. Unfortunately, my addiction to coffee gets in the way sometimes 🙁 Thanks for your input! Have a great weekend!

Beautiful review! And loving that bathing suit. I often frolic on blow up mattresses in the pool as well.. all the cool girls do, right?
