Affordable fashion blogger Stephanie Ziajka shares an Amazon spring try on haul on Diary of a Debutante

We’re finally in the prime of springtime here in Columbia! After one of the craziest winters we’ve ever had (seriously, it was -10 at one point), I went on a little bit of a spending spree on Amazon in search of cute warm-weather clothes that are both spring and summer-appropriate. I found some awesome stuff, too, so I’m rounding up all my favorite cozy Amazon spring style picks under $50 in today’s post! Keep reading for the full Amazon spring try-on haul– and check back in a few days for some new additions! You can also check out last year’s Summer Try-On Haul for more affordable Amazon fashion finds.

Amazon Spring Try-On Haul

1. Blue Chiffon Ruffle Dress

I’m absolutely obsessed with this blue chiffon ruffle dress. It’ll hands-down be one of my favorite Amazon Fashion purchases of 2021. The color is stunning in person and so perfect for spring. I also love the tie-neck detail, although I personally wouldn’t actually wear it tied. It is hand wash-only, though, and it did take weeks to ship, but I’ll still be ordering in at least two more colors.

For reference, I’m wearing a size Small, and this color is called Sky Blue. It fits TTS, too– definitely stick to your normal size!

2. Pink Ruffle Midi Dress

I bought this pink ruffle midi dress for Derby Day and didn’t have high hopes. The fabric looks a little stiff in the pictures, and it seemed a little too cheap to be comfortable. Y’all, I was so wrong! This is one of the softest and most flattering dresses I own! The material is nice and stretchy, too, so it’d make a great spring wedding guest dress– or honestly even an engagement/maternity shoot dress. Just a note– I like to wear the ruffle sleeve up on my shoulder, but you can also wear it off-shoulder (like the model in the photo), which is fun.

The only downside to this dress is that the bottom isn’t lined, so it’s practically impossible to wear underwear. I guess that’s the joy of Spanx, right?!

For reference, this dress fits TTS! I’m wearing a size Small, and this color is Pink.

3-4. Striped Button Down and Light Wash Jean Shorts

I practically live in oversized button-downs this time of year, and I love this one. The material is a lot thicker than it looks (so much so that it’s hard to get wrinkles out) but is still breathable. I also really love the boyfriend-style fit, and Goodthreads did a really nice job of making the fabric feel worn without looking worn (if that makes sense).

For reference, I’m wearing a size XS, and this pattern is called White/Cardinal Double Stripe. It’s definitely made to fit a little oversized, so no need to size up if you order.

Also, this is my second pair of these jeans shorts (I own them in white, too), and they’re awesome. Especially for being labeled as “hot shorts,” they offer pretty decent coverage. They’re also made of super stretchy material, which makes them feel more like athletic shorts than jeans, which I love. For reference, I’m wearing a size small, and this wash/style is called A-Light Blue.

5. Sleeveless Woven Shirt Dress

I like this casual little sleeveless floral shirt dress so much more than I thought I would! It’s super light and airy and would be adorable for work, church, brunches– pretty much any occasion that isn’t super fancy because of its lightweight tee shirt-like material. I’m also a big fan of pockets and tie waists, so this one ticks all the right boxes. I’ll definitely be ordering it in the hot pink, as well– and maybe even the red leaf print for Memorial Day/4th of July. Love!

For reference, I’m wearing a size XS, and this print is called Navy White Pearls. It fits TTS, too!

6-7. Light Blue High-Waist Leggings and White Open-Back Tank

Amazon Core 10 light blue high waist leggings worn by affordable fashion blogger Stephanie Ziajka on Diary of a Debutante

Let it be known that I love Core 10. It’s probably my favorite activewear brand on Amazon, and I own four pairs of their leggings. I normally stick to dark colors because they’re more slimming (in my case, at least), but I loved this light blue color so much that I had to try it. I’m probably going to keep these high-waist leggings because they’re super soft and ridiculously comfy, but I don’t know if I’d wear them out in public. They’re not see-through or anything– they just don’t do anything for my figure. They’re also super long, so if you’re under 5’6″, these probably aren’t the right leggings for you.

For reference, I’m wearing a size Small, and this color is called Ice Blue. Aside from the length, they fit TTS!

Also, I ordered this open-back workout top in white and pink (next up on the list), and I love it. I have a white Lululemon top in a similar style, and not only is it completely see-through, but it also had around an $80 price tag. This one is budget-friendly and opaque enough to at least hide white or nude-colored sports bras. I also like that you can wear the back open and loose or tied into a knot for a tighter fit.

For reference, I’m wearing a size Small, and this color is White. I find that it fits TTS, but you should size up if you like more oversized workout tops!

8-9. White Tennis Skirt and Pink Open-Back Tank

One of my new year’s resolutions was to pick tennis back up this year, so I ordered a few different tennis skirts to try out in this year’s Amazon spring try-on haul. I absolutely love this one— it’s pleated, has built-in shorts underneath, and has three hidden pockets. For reference, it fits TTS. I’m wearing a size Small, and this color is White!

Also, this is the second open-back workout tank I ordered, and honestly, I think prefer this one over the white. It’s just the prettiest shade of pink. You can see how the back looks when it’s tied into a knot below!

10. Pink Tennis Skirt

The color of this pink tennis skirt just makes me so happy! I love the stretchy sweat-wicking material and the fact that it has pockets, shorts underneath, and a hidden inner pocket inside. The material is reflective, too, so it stays visible in lower-light situations, which is nice for evening sports players. Since putting together this spring try-on haul, I’ve worn it for both tennis and golf, and it always gets a ton of compliments. Highly recommend for tennis/golf lovers!

For reference, this skirt fits TTS. I’m wearing a size Small, and this color is called A-Light Pink.

11. Supersoft Terry Long Sleeve Top

Y’all, I could live in this supersoft long sleeve terry top. It’s amazingly comfy and shockingly good quality for the price. As is the case with most Daily Ritual athleisure, though, it flies in and out of stock. So, if you like it and see it in stock, grab it while you can!

For reference, this top fits TTS. I’m wearing a size Small, and this print is called White/Taupe Leopard Print.

12. Mid-Rise White Skinny Jeans*

I’m a huuuge fan of these mid-rise white skinny jeans! They’re completely opaque, and the four-way stretch denim is super comfy. The only downside is that they’re super long, but that doesn’t bother me. I actually kinda like cuffing jeans. Highly recommend– especially for the price!

For reference, I’m 5’7″, I’m wearing size 25, and this wash is called Soft Clean White (Waterless). They fit TTS, too, so order your normal size. Also, this pink tie knot top is from last year’s Amazon summer try-on haul, but I wanted to link it here, too, just in case. I’m wearing a size Small, and this color/style is called C Pink.

*I always try to keep my Amazon try-on hauls to items of $50 or less, but prices fluctuate. I was able to grab these white skinny jeans for $49.99, but you may pay a little more or a little less. Just a heads up!

13. Asymmetrical Batwing Sleeve Sweater

I ordered this asymmetrical batwing sleeve pullover sweater in white about six months back (see it styled here) and needed it in at least one more color. It’s so soft and looks super stylish tucked into jeans, leggings, and shorts. Also, for as warm as it looks, it’s still pretty breathable (you’d definitely need a few layers underneath in super cold weather), so I plan on wearing it all throughout spring.

For reference, I’m wearing a size XS, and this color is called Rubber Pink. This sweater is asymmetrical, so if you have a longer torso, you’ll probably want to size up. Also, be aware that it’s hand wash only. If you stick it in the dryer, it will shorten the length considerably.

14. White “Tummy Control” Leggings

Amazon ONGASOFT white leggings worn by affordable fashion blogger Stephanie Ziajka on Diary of a Debutante

I really like these white tummy control leggings! The mesh detail is super fun, I love the little side pocket, and they’re surprisingly flattering. That being said, they’re also about a foot too long. Why do all athleisure companies assume everyone’s 5’10”?! Still, for the price point and for their amazing (almost suspiciously amazing) slimming qualities, I’m definitely keeping these!

For reference, these fit TTS but are super long. I’m 5’7″ and am wearing a size Small. Also, this color is called White!

15. Long Sleeve Split Mock-Neck Top

White Amazon Lark & Ro long sleeve split mock-neck top worn by affordable fashion blogger Stephanie Ziajka on Diary of a Debutante

Lark & Ro is another one of my favorite Amazon labels, especially for workwear. This long sleeve split mock-neck top drapes beautifully and is super light and breathable. My favorite details, though, are the sweet button sleeves. They’re just precious and make this top feel so much more expensive than it is. I also love that it can be worn with jeans shorts, work pants, or a pencil skirt and blazer. I’m kind of shocked that it’s machine-washable, too, but it is!

For reference, I’m wearing a size XS, and this color is called Vanilla Ice. As with most Lark & Ro clothing, the fit runs large, so size down if you’re on the fence.

16. Sleeveless V-Neck Waffle Knit Top

Pink Amazon sleeveless v-neck waffle top worn by affordable fashion blogger Stephanie Ziajka on Diary of a Debutante

This waffle knit tank is super cute and comfy and will be perfect for summer! It’s under $20, too, which is nice. Honestly, though, I’m kind of ambivalent about this top compared to the other items in this Amazon spring try-on haul. It’s cute not necessarily a must-have spring essential for me personally.

For reference, I’m wearing a size Small, and this color is Pink.
