Hello, September! Somehow, and I legitimately don’t know how, we’ve breezed through summer. The first official day of fall is Friday, September 22nd, but now that football’s back in full swing and the weather’s starting to change, it’s hard to not celebrate early. August, aka the Sunday of Summer, was an incredible month, filled with so many awesome adventures. I get why Forest Park in St. Louis is famous, y’all. Am I the only one who wants to hide my hair under a hat (or behind a gorgeous bouquet of big white hydrangeas) when my roots start to show? It’s SUPER frustrating, especially when you’re already spending $100+ per month at the hair salon. Sunday Funday cocktails, anyone? Kyle and I just moved apartments for the LAST time for at least one year this week (praise God), and this bar cart was the last thing packed and the first thing unpacked. Ironing is in my top 3 LEAST favorite things to do, especially while traveling. I always end up burning myself, and I usually end up ruining a very visible portion of the fabric, too. I’m SUPER excited to have finally found the ultimate wardrobe hack– Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus. Even when I’m far from home, you can still find me beneath the palm trees. Kyle and I ran off to St. Louis for a fun project this weekend, and I can’t even begin to gush about how stunning the Chase Park Plaza hotel (and virtually all of Forest Park) is. So gorgeous and so green! Also, I found the most perfect dress for impromptu summer vacations, and it’s under $15! Not spending time in New England this summer is SO sad, but I realized an awesome local florist is located about a block away from my apartment… so I still have access to gorgeous hydrangeas on the reg.
