I’m not sure if this was a national phenomenon or not, but Columbia decided to skip right past spring and plunge right into summer. Seriously, y’all, it was snowing less than a month ago, and now it bobbles in between the high 80s and low 90s. So, I’ve officially switched over my wardrobe from cold to warm, and I’ve traded in my boots for wedges. If I’m being honest, it’s really hard for me to spend more than $100 on shoes. I believe in actually wearing shoes, not keeping them on display in my living room, so the half-life of even the most well-constructed pair isn’t very long. Plus, I have heavy feet, so my shoes never make it past two or three years without losing a sole anyways.
