I know that Florida has a lot to offer, especially when it comes to relaxing outdoors, but it’s a whole different ballgame up in Maine. The humidity is manageable, there aren’t any scary bugs or poisonous snakes to look out for, and all the nature trails I’ve been on have been meticulously well kept. Kyle and I have already gone on more hikes in the few short months that we’ve been staying in Maine than I’ve done in my lifetime in Central Florida. I will say, though, that the cold has taken some getting used to. I never knew how fast my feet could freeze until I tried to wear flats without socks in 40 degree weather. Hence, I’ve basically been living in boots, and these chestnut Quincy UGG boots have been a dream come true.
