Christmas party outfits under $50 styled by affordable fashion blogger Stephanie Ziajka on Diary of a Debutante

Need some affordable Christmas party outfit ideas? I’m rounding up five of my favorite Christmas party outfits, all of which I bought on Amazon for under $50, in today’s post. Click play below to check out my try-on haul on Instagram– and keep reading for outfit details!

Christmas Party Outfits under $50: Part One

1. Turtleneck Midi Dress

This super-slim-fitting knitted midi dress is just under $50 and comes in over a dozen colors. The material is super light and stretchy, which makes it a little hard to wear regular underwear with it, but super comfortable nonetheless. For reference, this color is khaki, and I’m wearing a size small.

2. Long Sleeve Tie-Neck Mini Dress

This is definitely not the first time I’ve posted about this little gem. I own it in three colors (see the pink styled here and the light blue styled here) and just think it’s such a darling little dress. I love the ruffle skirt, and the cinched waist is super flattering, which is always a plus. For reference, this color is called dot pink, and I’m wearing a size small.

3. Tie-Waist Sweater Dress

I also own this tie-waist sweater dress in two colors (red and green), and I wear them ALL THE TIME around the holidays. This dress is super comfy and looks great with flats, boots, and pumps. It is a little short, though, so keep that in mind if you’re much taller than me. For reference, this color is red, and I’m wearing a size small. I’m also 5.6.5″

Full disclosure– these gold bow earrings aren’t under $50, but I still wanted to take a second to share one of my favorite new Etsy sellers with y’all! Her name is Raina, she operates out of New Hampshire, and she has a boutique called Sewcialite. Raina makes the most adorable hand-beaded earrings, clutches, and gift wrap. She also hand made the tartan plaid clutch I’m holding in outfit #1. Definitely check out her shop when you have the chance!

4. Pink Pleated Bow Skirt and Puff Sleeve Sweater

I also own this skirt in red (spoiler alert– it’s #5 on this list), and it’s got to be one of my favorite Amazon Fashion finds of all time. It’s a dead ringer for something Kate Spade would make, and it’s amazing quality. I’d be willing to pay $100+ for this skirt, but luckily, it’s available on Amazon for under $25. Grab it while it’s available, though– popular colors and sizes are always flying and out of stock. For reference, this color is pink, and I’m wearing a size 2. It runs large, though, so size down if you can.

As for this white puff sleeve sweater, I was originally unenthused by it– and even thought about returning it last year. It’s a little short (I have a longer torso), so it didn’t look great when I tried it on with jeans. I’m glad I didn’t, though, because it looks super classy tucked into high-waisted skirts. The puff sleeves add an extra polished element to it, too! For reference, this color is Vanilla Ice, and I’m wearing an XS. It fits pretty snug, so if you prefer a more oversized fit, size up.

5. Red Pleated Bow Skirt and Puff Sleeve Sweater

If this skirt wasn’t made for the holidays, I don’t know what is. The color is just perfect for Christmas, and the skirt itself is an absolute steal. The red and pink colors fly in and out of stock, though, so if you see them available in your size, grab them while you can. For reference, this color is red, and I’m wearing a size 2. Size down if you can, though– these run large.

Christmas Party Outfits under $50: Part Two

I’ll be uploading photos shortly, but in the meantime, I’m listing out outfit details in chronological order. Click play below to check out my try-on haul on Instagram!

1. Pink Ruffle Shoulder Midi Dress

This one-shoulder pink ruffle midi dress is one of my all-time favorites. As perfect as it is for holiday functions, it’s great year-round, too (see it styled for Derby Day here). The materials is soft and stretchy, and the ruffle shoulder detail makes the dress feel much more high fashion than pretty much anything else I’ve ordered from Amazon. For reference, I’m wearing a size small.

2. Pink Jersey Short Sleeve Romper

I’m a little bummed I didn’t check the listing before I shared this romper– it’s one of my favorites (so soft and comfy– honestly feels more like pajamas like a party romper), but it’s no longer available on Amazon. Fortunately, I did find it on another site, so I’m linking to it here! For reference, i’m wearing a size XS 0-2, and it fits great. The material doesn’t hide much, though, so you probably need to invest in some Spanx with this one.

3. Black Wide Leg Ruffle Jumpsuit

This wide leg jumpsuit is the freaking cutest, y’all! I tried to order it a few weeks ago, but it said it wouldn’t be in stock for a few weeks, so I passed. The next time I checked, though, it was magically in stock and available for immediate shipping, so I snagged it and am so happy I did! It seriously feels and looks nearly identical (not in style but quality) to jumpsuits I’ve paid well over $200 for in the past, and I love that it comes in a handful of holiday colors. Highly recommend this one, you guys! For reference, I’m wearing a size small. I’m also 5’6.5″ if you’re picky about jumpsuit length (which I am).

4. White Tie-Neck Chiffon Blouse and Stretchy Silver Sequin Mini Skirt

From all the polls I’ve done, this outfit isn’t quite a favorite for anyone except me (ha!).  Still, if you’re not sure what to wear to a holiday work party, this outfit’s pretty perfect. I just love this sequin mini skirt (granted, my default was to try and order the gold in more of a pencil skirt length but it wasn’t available until February), and the tie-neck chiffon blouse looks so classy tucked into virtually anything– sequin skirts, jeans, work pants, pencil skirts, you name it. For reference, I’m wearing a size small in the blouse, and the color is C White. I’m also wearing a size small in the silver sequin mini skirt (which is super stretchy and definitely fits TTS).

5. Black Off-Shoulder Sheath Midi Dress

This classy Christmas party dress is another prime candidate for what to wear to a holiday work party. I actually ordered this off-shoulder sheath midi dress last year and never got around to sharing it. It’s so classic, y’all, and the material is soft, stretchy, and INSANELY comfy! Seriously, I don’t think there’s a LBD I love more than this one. For reference, I’m wearing a size small, and it fits TTS.
