On the real no lie, I cannot get enough of spring. Florida really only has about a 2-3 week window of moderately cool/warm weather, and it’s pretty much happening right now. Savor the flavor, Floridians. My BFF, Ashley Brooke, and I fully capitalized on our short-term weather opportunity with a lovely picnic day in the sweet city of Baldwin Park.
The birds were chirping, the sun was out, and the wind was definitely blowing. I opted for some gorgeous (and surprisingly inexpensive) lace shorts with a bold crimson blouse, in addition to gold accessories, to complete this breezy casual spring outfit. I finally was able to wear my black and gold Lily and Laura bracelets from 9th & Elm, which will permanently take up residence on my wrist when UCF football comes back into play. I’ve featured Lily and Laura on my blog before, and I can’t sing this company’s praises enough. Their gorgeous bracelets are hand crocheted by one of many female artists in Nepal using the world’s finest quality glass beads. With every purchase, you help to improve the quality of life for these women and their families, and I think it’s a fantastically philanthropic cause to endorse. Plus, they’re on sale right now for $29… pretty big deal, y’all.
…earth, fire, *WIND, water, heart..

Hope the weather’s been treating y’all okay, too! Mad respect for you people who are still dealing with blizzards and ice and sub-zero nonsense (foreign language gibberish to us southerners).
