Even though fall doesn’t officially start until the equinox on September 22nd, now’s a prime time to curate your fall wardrobe. A good place to start is by assessing which seasonal hues are trending. With the help of Pantone’s Fall Color Report, I’ve rounded up some of Amazon’s best fall fashion finds under $100, including both accessories and apparel. Scroll down for links to all product details!
Blush
Pantone named Ballet Slipper, aka the prettiest blush tone, a trending autumnal hue in their fall fashion colors 2017 report. Its shade combine the softness of pink with a rosy glow, and the result is just gorgeous. Plus, fun fact– Queen Elizabeth allegedly only wears Essie nail polish in Ballet Slippers. If the queen approves, you should, too.
How to wear it: Aldo Kairede Top Handle Handbag, $40 (also available in medium blue and pink miscellaneous)
Tawny Port
Another inclusion in Pantone’s fall fashion colors 2017 report was Tawny Port. It’s a classic rich burgundy hue that channels serious marsala and sangria vibes. It’s a seasonal, flirty, and feminine option for women who love wearing bold pink all year long.
How to wear it: Studded Suede Bucket Bag Bucket, $59 (also available in black) | Tommy Hilfiger Chunky Heeled Sandal, $60 (also available in black and navy)
Autumn Maple
Call me crazy, but the name burnt umber doesn’t sound enticing. So, Pantone basically renamed the warm orangey hue Autumn Maple— and it’s suddenly much more appealing.
How to wear it: Foley Tassel Slide Sandals, $62-75 (also available in taupe and black) | Lucky Brand Cafe Open-Toe Booties, $83 (also available in black and ivy green) | Autumn Plaid Blanket Scarf, $12 (also available in 14 other colors)
Butterum
Butterum is a “toasty” warm shade with year-long staying potential. Evocative of drinking a glass of butterum by a roaring fire, it gives off some seriously delicious neutral fall vibes.
How to wear it: T-Shirt & Jeans Tiki Back Pack, $25
Lemon Curry
Lemon Curry is one of my favorite autumnal hues, and it’s actually from Pantone’s fall fashion colors 2017 palette for London. It adds a touch of seasonal fun and autumnal pizzaz to a traditional (and, in my opinion, ugly) mustard shade.
How to wear it: Brystal Frayed Cross Strap Slide Dress Sandal, $69 (also available in black, denim, and orange sun)
Golden Olive
Golden Olive is another tone chosen for Pantone’s fall fashion colors 2017 palette for London. It’s the perfect mixture of gold and olive green, and it’s a classic fall tone that’ll be in style twenty years from now.
How to wear it: Page Block Heel Ghillie Dress Sandal, $79 (also available in black and summery navy) | Chiffon Scarf, $8.50 (also available in 23 other colors)
Navy Peony
Navy needs no introduction, as it’s become this autumn’s go-to neutral. It’s been a classic mainstay for the season since… well, forever. If you’re hoping to curate a timeless capsule wardrobe, navy is a pretty solid bet.
How to wear it: Petrol Blue Velvet Platform Dress Sandal, $99 (also available in blush/champagne and wine/black) | Navy Large Envelope Clutch, $23 (also available in 15 other colors)
Toast
Toast replaced butterum on Pantone’s fall fashion colors 2017 palette for London. It’s a classic neutral tone that pairs perfectly with plaid.
How to wear it: Tartan Blanket Scarf, $12 (also available in 14 other colors) | Nine West Felt Floppy Hat with Metal Tube, $54 (also available in black)
Cognac
So, I’ll admit cognac is an older Pantone tone. I believe it was listed as an official fall color for 2014 or 2015. However, while cognac is technically considered an autumnal hue, it’s a staple shade with much more robustness than Toast. Plus, it’s relevant and trending all year long.
How to wear it: Aldo Aqualina Satchel, $55 (also available in taupe and black) | Michael Kors Luggage Leather Slim Runway Three-Hand Watch, $93
Black
Pantone officially declared Navy Peony as fall’s substitute for black, but I disagree. Black isn’t replaceable.
How to wear it: Avery Studded Top Flap Suede Backpack, $27 (also available in havana tan) | Black Circular Crossbody Bag | Lucky Brand Riding Boot, $69-229 (also available in brindle and honey) | Black Dome Stud Slider Sandals, $79 (also available in light rose, blue, and fuchsia)
Leopard
I realize leopard is a print, not a color. However, it combines two of the most popular autumnal hues, black and cognac. In the fall and winter months, this exotic trending pattern basically becomes a versatile neutral.
How to wear it: Juicy Couture Gold and Leopard Watch, $58 | Leopard Print Satchel, $49 | Madison Leopard Ballet Flats, $80
