We don’t go on vacation often, so when we do, I like to dress up. I took this green ruffle maxi dress with us to Maine and tried to drum up as many excuses as possible to wear it. It’s just that pretty. It’s also under $40, and the placement of the slit is near perfect, too, making it light and breezy enough to wear in the summer heat. Head down to the bottom of this post for full outfit details! For reference, I’m wearing a small, and it’s got some extra wiggle room. I recommend either ordering your normal size or sizing down if you’re on the fence. Also, I’m 5’6.5″ (5’7″ on a good day), and it’s the perfect length for flat sandals. If you’re significantly taller and like your maxis floor-length, it may be too short for you. 

Also, I’m partial to this fun green leaf print in the summer, but I own this strapless maxi dress in the blue porcelain print, too, and wear it year-round. These white beaded statement earrings were another solid Amazon Fashion find! They go with practically everything, and I love that they can actually be seen in my dark brown hair. I also love that they’re surprisingly lightweight. I have super sensitive earlobes and had no problem wearing them for 6+ hours straight.
