I can’t believe September is already over! It feels like yesterday that Kyle and I first unpacked our boxes in our new apartment in early June. Although acclimating to life in Columbia has been rough, I am very excited about the prospect of experiencing a CoMO fall. It won’t quite be like Maine, but it’ll be a vast improvement from Florida’s eternal summer. This September, however, felt like a less wet Florida September, so please excuse the absence of any fall vibes whatsoever. As much as I’d love to layer and wear my blanket scarves, it’s not going to happen in 85 degree weather.
Instagram analytics confirms that my photos are only being shown to 1500 people on average (not a joke and confirmable via screenshot). So, as always, I’ve rounded up all my September Instagrams for the tens of thousands of you who don’t see my posts. This round-up of Instagram feed ideas includes 8 outfit ideas and a handful of updates on fun projects I’ve been working on. If you’re looking for Instagram feed ideas, I hope you’ll find these helpful! Oh, and if you aren’t already, please follow along with me on Instagram! I’m so grateful for each and every one of you!
I’ve got about 17 to-do lists to make (and successfully execute)… at least I’ve got a super fun Moleskine notebook to make them in, right? Here is a link to a similar pair of heels, and here is a link to my striped monogrammed planner.
I learned from Heather at My Life Well Loved that these pretty pink flowers are called crepe myrtles, and they’re ALL OVER St. Louis! This was taken at the Saint Louis Zoo, which is one of the most incredible zoos I’ve ever been to. Oh, and admission is FREE (what!?)! For more of my favorite things ways to play in St. Louis– 90% of which are also totally free to the public, click here.
You know a woman means business when she puts on red lipstick. Still can’t get over the scalloped laser cut trim of these ankle pants. Such a fun way to dress up ordinary work pants! For shoppable outfit links, check out the full post or shop the look via LiketoKnowIt.
No bows about it… this dress is a keeper. It’s available in both poster red and black, and I seriously can’t get enough of this fun bow-neck detail. For shoppable outfit details, check out the full post or shop via LiketoKnowIt!
I don’t really have the time (or room in my budget) to get facials and/or peels every week, so I’ve decided to take the Olay 28 Day Challenge! Basically, I’ve committed to using Olay Total Effects Moisturizer with SPF 15 every morning and Olay Eyes DeepHydrating Eye Gel every morning and evening for the next 28 days. It’s super simple, affordable, and, based on all the testimony of fellow challenge-takers, delivers real results. I’ll be sharing my results along the way. If you’re looking to switch up your skincare routine (in lieu of the season change or just because you want visibly healthy skin), join in on the fun and commit to taking the 28-day challenge with me! You can learn more about your own personalized skincare here.
I think I’m addicted to sneakers, y’all. I’ve had the hardest time actually wearing either of these. Why? I have an irrational fear of them getting dirty. They’re just so white and pretty! Here is a link to the pink Adidas sneakers (my fave), and here is a link to the white/black Adidas sneakers.
Current Status: Wishing I was back on Lake Damariscotta yelling at Kyle to stop rocking the sailboat. Take me back! For a recap of our six month stay in Maine, click here! For shoppable outfit links, check out the full post or shop via LiketoKnowIt.
I don’t know which thing I’d devour quicker… the 50+ Ferrero Rocher chocolates or the champagne underneath. Click here for a tutorial on how to make this fun DIY champagne pineapple! PS- Yes, I know it’s fall, but pineapples are an international symbol of hospitality. Especially now that Kyle and I are in a new city (and we’re trying to make friends and be social), I’ll be making these as hostess gifts left and right.
White lace makes everything better! How gorgeous is this white lace Lenox top? It has removable camisole lining, features the most gorgeous bell sleeves with zigzag edges. For shoppable outfit details, check out Fall Edit: How to Style Pink Skinny Jeans or shop via LiketoKnowIt.
This look is up on Diary of a Debutante, and it’s my favorite outfit that I’ve worn in a long time. These pink skinny jeans are SUPER comfy and come in four different colors. For shoppable outfit details, check out Fall Edit: How to Style Pink Skinny Jeans or shop via LiketoKnowIt.
Kyle and I have been settling into our new apartment for a little over a month now, and it feels so nice to FINALLY have everything all furnished. We (clearly) haven’t shopped for new pillows, though, otherwise the monograms and pops of coral would’ve been the first to go. What would y’all like to see on Instagram this October? Any Instagram feed ideas you have for me? I only want to create content that YOU want to see, so I’m literally all ears!
