As part of my newly declared blog posting schedule, I’m committed to doing one beauty review and/or endorsement per week. This week, I couldn’t resist a commentary on a personal hair recommendation from my stylist… It’s a 10 Miracle Leave In Product.

It’s a fairly well known fact that blondes typically place higher in pageants… ergo, my hair has gone from dark brown to light brown to dirty blonde to platinum blonde to more platinum blonde… then recently back to dark brown. I’m finally at a point where I don’t need any form of regular color treatment, but evidently my hair is still severely damaged and in  dire need of routine deep conditioning. It’s a 10 does ten things instantly:

1) Repairs dry, damaged hair
2) Adds shine
3) Detangles
4) Controls frizz
5) Seals and protects hair color
6) Prevents split ends
7) Stops hair breakage
8) Creates silkiness
9) Enhances natural body
10) Flat iron spray and thermal protector

The crazy thing? It actually does all ten of these things. It’s ridiculously easy to use; after shampooing and conditioning your hair, simply spray product all over hair and comb through. I typically let mine sit for an hour or so before blow drying. Upon my very first application, my hair was noticeably silkier, healthier, less frizzy, and more voluminous. After about 3 weeks of use, I’ve been receiving compliments left and right on my hair, and no, I haven’t gotten it done recently (Hair appointment tomorrow– going darker AND adding extensions. Bam!).

It’s a 10 Miracle Leave In Product can be purchased at most chain retail stores or virtually anywhere online. I found my bottle (120 ml/4 fl oz) online for under $20. It seems pricey, and I was admittedly skeptical… but it’s been 100% worth it.

Top 5 Runner-Up Hair Preservation| Conditioning Recommendations:

1. SH-RD Protein Cream

Leave-in treatment to repair, restore, and revitalize hair, apply prior to any heat treatment for protein protection

2. Moroccan Oil Hair Treatment

Ultra-light formula which is absorbed by the hair instantly, resulting in a natural, silky finish and brilliant shine- has the ability to restore over-processed hair damaged by environmental factors and chemical procedures – also revives, hydrates and detangles hair, wigs and hair extensions

 3. Matrix Biolage Fortifying Leave-In Treatment

Gentle detangler and instant moisturizer

 4. Matrix Biolage SmoothProof Leave in Cream:

Smoothes dry, unruly hair… avoid the straightener all together

5. Nexxus Pro-Mend Shampoo and Conditioner

Conceals and repairs hair by zeroing in on split ends and binding them back together

Also, if you need immediate volume and can’t afford to wait the 4-5 weeks to see improvement, extensions work wonders. Whether they are clip-in (easy to use, great for one-night occasions) or sown//glued (much more uncomfortable, but last for 3-4 weeks), the immediate results are the same. I had mine glued in a week before Miss Florida, and instantly my hair was transformed into a voluminous head of dimensional, gorgeous blonde hair.

Let me know if you have any deep conditioning or repair favorites. I love trying new products! Have a fabulous week!

Yay! I am so happy you did a review on this product! I was skeptical about the product but I am going to run out and buy some asap! My biggest problem is static! My daughter has the same problem. I have been fighting this for years. Hopefully this product will help!
    Happy Monday!

Frizz//static are my WORST enemies, Brooke, and this stuff (so far) has worked like a charm! I'm such a fan. Just make sure you buy the smaller bottle in case it doesn't work as well on your hair. It's a 10 comes in like 17 different sizes. Have a great week! Oh, and HAPPY MONDAY! 🙂

Hey Martha! I completely understand what you mean. It's a 10 comes in smaller bottles than this one, so I think you can test it for under $10. It's definitely worth it in my opinion, but make sure you like it before you buy the full size. It's pretty awesome, though; I'll be honest! Happy Monday! 🙂

My hair stylist always tells me I need some more moisture in my routine, but some of the ones I've tried make my hair look too greasy instantly! I'll give this one a shot…I too went from dirty blonde to blonder, then had an early mid life crisis (lol, not really) and went dark dark dark brown, then gradually back to blonde. My hair paid for it with the dryness. Thanks for sharing!

If anyone understands dry, damaged hair… it's me! Just make sure you spray it in before blow drying, and your problem will be solved. Totally understand the greasy hair problem, by the way; mine's the same way! Happy Monday, darling!

I just finished my bottle of It's a 10! One more thing it does – smells really good!

I, too, damaged the crap out of my hair with a recent bout of platinum. Plus, I blow out and flat iron my hair almost every day! Yikes! So moisture and repair are always needed here!

Also, totally jelly you're getting extensions. Clamped or bonded? I want them so bad! But I decided to experiment with clip ins first. I'm over it. Want more semi-permanent ones!

Hey Shauna! I used to be the same way, but my stylist scared the bajeesus out of me by telling me all my hair would fall out if I kept up that heat routine. I only wash/condition/style it 2-3 times a week, depending on my activities during the day (workout=wash hair). I'm so glad I found this stuff!

The ones I used at Miss Florida were bonded, and while they lasted a while (2-3 weeks), they irritated my scalp SO BADLY. I'm getting clip-in ones for now, strictly cause I've heard amazing things about their ease of application//removal. I may end up reverting back to bonding, but we'll see… I'm such an extensions freak. I love them!

So glad you stopped by! Have a fabulous week 🙂

I'm glad you posted this review. My hair dresser is always trying to get me to try it. I can never tell if it is a good product, or if they are just trying to "sell." I'll have to try it now 🙂

I know EXACTLY what you mean. I'm normally hesitant to buy products from salons, too, but my current stylist is very aware of my frugality. Plus, I never buy them from the salon directly; Amazon/Target/Walmart have way better prices! Give it a try; definitely worth it! Have a great week, Jo 🙂

It's wonderful! I'm such a fan. It's pricier, but you can also get the It's a 10 Leave-In Conditioner with Keratin in it… ugh, that stuff is the BEST. Thanks for stopping by, Kathryn!

It will! I'm serious, within one use (and I let mine sit for about an hour before blow drying) my hair was shinier, more voluminous, and less frizzy. I love this stuff! So glad you liked the review. Have a fabulous week 🙂

Right?! It's the best! And I'm the same way; I hate when products make my newly washed hair feel greasy. Kind of defeats the purpose of washing//conditioning. Glad you stopped by! Have a fabulous day!

Given the price I was hesitant to order but went out on a limb with this after reading the other reviews. I was really happy that I did because this works wonderfully. It’s a 10 Haircare Miracle Leave was more expensive than I would have liked but after using it, I would definitely order it again. My sister-in-law will be getting a bottle for her birthday as part of her present for sure this year.
