Affordable fashion blogger Stephanie Ziajka shares a June Amazon Fashion Haul for 2021 on Diary of a Debutante

I can’t believe it’s already June, you guys! Not only am I turning 33 (oh.my.gosh) this month, we’re creeping closer and closer to our new wedding date! The weather also decided to change super quickly on us– it went from highs in the 50s to lows in the 60s pretty much overnight, so I ordered a bunch of new summer clothes from Amazon, and I wanted to share them with y’all in today’s post! As usual, all my favorite summer finds are under $50, and I’m sharing my honest opinions about each of them below. Keep reading for the full June Amazon Fashion haul! Also, for even more cute finds under $50, check out last year’s Amazon summer try-on haul!

PS- I’ve decided to try doing monthly try-on hauls instead of seasonal! Otherwise, I save stuff for a specific seasonal haul and then forget to post it. Case in point, I have some great puffer vests and jackets I can’t wait to show you this winter (ha)!

June Amazon Fashion Haul: Hits

1. Fleece Sweatshirt and Fleece Side Slit Shorts

The Drop is an Amazon line (or brand?) that’s curated by influencers, and to be honest, it’s been a bit of a letdown. The items tend to be a bit pricier, and they’re just not things I’m particularly fond of. This fleece set, though, immediately caught my eye! It’s so cozy, and the rose print is beautiful in person. The sweatshirt actually looks really cute with jeans, too! For reference, I’m wearing a size small in both the sweatshirt and shorts.

I actually loved this set so much that I bought it in another print, too. It’s definitely not as fun as the rose, but it’s much more neutral, which I like. Anyway, here’s what the wheat tie-dye set looks like–

2. Casual Striped Dress

This casual striped dress has like… 8 million 5-star reviews, so I decided to give it a go in the dusty pink color. Let me start off by saying that I do really like it. I love the color, the pockets, and the tie belt. The length is great, too– totally work-appropriate but also short enough to let your legs breathe in the summer. My hang-up is with the horizontal stripes. They’re just not flattering– and with the pockets puffing out right at the hip, it’s just not a dress that feels particularly great to wear. I’m keeping it based on its comfiness alone, though!

I’m not totally sure if I’ll keep this one or not, but if horizontal stripes don’t bother you, this dress is comfy as all get-out. For reference, I’m wearing a size small, and this print is A-DustyPink.

3. Strapless Wide Leg Jumpsuit

I always feel super weird in jumpsuits– like I’m not cool enough to wear them or something. With this one, though, I don’t care. It’s SO COMFY! The material is thick enough to not look cheap but light and breezy enough to wear in the summertime. My only caveat is that it may not work well for super short and super tall women. I can say confidently, though, that if you’re anywhere around 5’6″, this jumpsuit will be perfect for your height-wise. Also, did I mention it has pockets?!?!

Sorry for not steaming this beforehand– I feel like the wrinkles don’t do the wide legs justice. Whoops. Wrinkles aside, for reference, I’m wearing a size small, and this color is dusty pink.

4-5. V-Neck Tank Top & Strappy Sandals

I feel like I own about a dozen of these Amazon v-neck tank tops, and I still want a dozen more. They’re so darn easy to style in the summertime, and they don’t wrinkle very easily, which makes them great for travel. I ordered this pink pattern for an upcoming trip and absolutely love it. I will say, though, that these tops have absolutely no stretch. If you have a larger chest, you probably need to size up. For reference, I’m wearing a size small.

Also, I had to share these strappy footbed sandals with y’all. I’m obsessed. They’re a little hard to get on at first, but they’re adorable, super comfy, and always get lots of compliments. They fit TTS, too. For reference, I’m normally a size 7.5, and I ordered a size 7.5. If you’re on the fence, though, definitely size up.

5. V-Neck Button Down Romper

This v-neck button down romper was a late-night impulse buy. The material looked linen to me (it’s not), and I thought it’d be fun to wear in Maine this summer. When I pulled it out of the bag, it reminded me of a canvas tote (in a good way, if that’s possible). I’m not sure how, but it just works. It looks so darn cute on, and the material is actually really comfy and light. I also really really love the tie belt and pockets.

My only two caveats with this romper are that it wrinkles relatively easily and probably needs to be starched after washing. Also, this romper will absolutely not work on women taller than 5’8″ unless you’re willing to size up substantially. For reference, I’m 5’6.5″, and I’m wearing a size small.

6. Twill Button-Down Cami

I don’t own a lot of yellow, but when I saw this snapdragon yellow button-down cami, I immediately added it to my cart. The color just makes me so happy, and now I want to buy all the yellow things. On the flip side, this twill cami is a little see-through, which you could probably avoid by ordering a darker pattern. Also, it wrinkles super easily, although they come up almost instantly with a steamer.

The button-down detail is adorable, too, and I love how light and airy the material is. Even though it’s a little see-through, I’m definitely keeping this one. I’m not sure I’ll order it in any other prints, though. For reference, I’m wearing a size small, and this color is snapdragon yellow.

7. Polo Tennis Dress

Literally the only negative thing I have to say about this pink and white polo tennis dress is that the first one I ordered had a few little stains up by the collar, and I had to send it back. Once I exchanged it for a non-pre-worn dress, it was perfect. The material is soft, stretchy, and sweat-wicking, and it also has +30 UV sun protection. Also, style-wise, I’m obsessed with it. It looks like a Lacoste tennis dress that would sell for over $200, and it’s honestly cute enough to wear casually with sandals. I also love that this dress is under $50 and comes in a handful of other colors. Seriously, the light blue looks ADORABLE, and I can’t wait for it to come back in stock! For reference, this color is pink, and I’m wearing a size small.

I’ve seen some reviewers complain that the dress doesn’t have pockets, which is true, but you can always wear tennis shorts underneath it. Ugh, just… highly, highly, highly recommend for golf and tennis lovers, y’all!

8. Terrycloth Sleeveless Romper

This pink sleeveless romper has amazing reviews for a reason– it’s so darn comfy! The material so soft (like a hybrid between breathable fleece and terrycloth), and I love the little tie waist and pockets. The pink color is also absolutely darling in person. Like most Daily Ritual loungewear, though, it flies in and out of stock super fast, so if you love it and see it in stock, grab it while you can! For reference, this color is pink, and I’m wearing a size XS.

June Amazon Fashion Haul: Misses

1. Balloon Sleeve Blouse

If you can pull off high-er fashion, this top might work for you. I really love the color, and it’s super comfy. The sleeves, though– they just don’t work for my body. I tried this balloon sleeve blouse tucked in, untucked, with shorts, with high-waisted jeans, and with skirts, and it just doesn’t look good. It looks amazing on the model, though, so this one may just be a miss for me personally. For reference, this color is Light Peach Nep, and I’m wearing a size XS.

The sleeves themselves are cute, though!

2. Button-Front Twill Dress

Let me start out by saying that I love the color of this twill button-front fit-and-flare dress. It’s actually the same as the button-down twill tank above. With that, though, is the fact that it’s pretty much see-through, and you can’t wear regular undergarments with it. Even nude-colored underwear shows through. Also, I’m generally a fan of fit-and-flare dresses, but this one just makes me look shapeless and frumpy. It needs a tie waist or a belt or something, but I honestly don’t like it enough to try and make it work. Definitely sending this one back. For reference, this color is Snapdragon Yellow, and I’m wearing a size XS.
