If I’m being totally honest with you guys (and myself), I love Kate Spade, but there’s no way I could ever pay for some of her clothing. It’s so cute, and I know it’s well made… but I just can’t. Becoming an Eschenroeder has made me too frugal. I can, however, proudly buy Kate Spade-inspired pieces, which is why I wanted to share this adorable bow skirt with y’all in today’s post! It’s absolutely darling, perfect for the holidays (including Valentine’s Day!), and currently under $25! It also comes in 7 colors, and I loved the pink one so much that I bought it in red, too. I’m torn, so I’m going to let y’all decide which look you like better. Update: I also found an adorable gold sequin cocktail dress that’s under $40 and has Kate Spade written all over it. Keep reading for all 3 Kate Spade inspired holiday outfits and outfit details!
Kate Spade-Inspired Red Bow Skirt
If you want to go pure holiday, I think the red’s the way to go! It’s so festive and vibrant, and it looks adorable and classy with any solid white or black top or sweater. Y’all know that love cozy oversized sweaters, but honestly, they don’t work well with this skirt. The excess fabric covers the bow, and it still looks cute– but it doesn’t have that same Kate Spade vibe.
Also, for reference, it does run large, so size down if you can. I’m wearing a 2/4, and it’s pretty roomy.
Side Note: I have to humble brag really quick. I’m normally a total sucker for dog bows (this etsy shop is the absolute cutest), but I couldn’t get them in time for Christmas, so I ran to Hobby Lobby and bought two cheerleader bows instead. I replaced the hair tie with a smaller piece of elastic to fit around Nala’s collar, and it turned out perfect!
Click to Shop: Red Bow Skirt (Size down if you can– it runs a little large. I’m wearing a 2/4, and it’s roomy. I’ll probably eventually have it taken it) | White Cross Wrap Top (fits TTS- I’m wearing an XS) | Red Block Heel Sandals (fit TTS– I’m normally a 7.5, and I’m wearing a 7.5) | Gold Geometric Hoop Earrings | Gold Smile Pendant Necklace
Kate Spade-Inspired Pink Bow Skirt
For year-round wear, I think I’m partial to the pink bow skirt. It’s perfect for the Christmas, New Year’s, Valentine’s Day, anytime during spring, cocktail parties, birthdays– everything. It also looks super cute with solid white, black, and navy tops (see it styled in a try-on haul here). And, I mean… it’s pink. Can’t get much more Kate Spade than that.
Again, for reference, this bow skirt does run large, so size down if you can. I’m wearing a 2/4, and it’s roomy.

Kate Spade-Inspired Sequin Mini Dress
Sparkly cocktail dresses are a Kate Spade signature staple. After all, she’s the one who coined the phrase, “She leaves a little sparkle everywhere she goes.” As adorable as her glittery dresses are, though, they’re way out of the average woman’s price range (so much so that you can often find them for rent on Rent the Runway), so I’m excited that I found this affordable gold sequin mini dress on Amazon! It comes in 9 different colors, including some fun ombre options, and it’s under $40.
For reference, I’m wearing a small, and it’s tight where it needs to be but loose enough that I don’t need special shapewear. That being said, if you prefer a tighter fit, definitely size down. If you like more of an oversized look, size up.

So… which Kate Spade inspired holiday outfit is your favorite? The sequin cocktail dress? The pink or red bow skirt? All 3?! Also, would it be crazy to buy the green bow skirt, too? Asking for a friend.
As always, please let me know if you have any questions about fit or quality in the comments. I’m happy to help!
