Whenever new seasons start to roll around, my first instinct is to go to the Lilly Pulitzer website. It’s sad, but true. Even though we’re just getting through January, Lilly is pre-emptively clothing us for their favorite time of year. I’m from Florida, so I couldn’t be happier; once we have our first below 30-degree catastrophe, it’s pretty much safe to say Spring isn’t far away. Here are my favorite new pieces from Lilly Pulitzer’s Spring 2014 Collection. Warning: Get ready for some fiercely bright fabulosity.
I adore Lilly Pulitzer‘s dresses. They’re the definition of versatile. Even in bright and floral Spring prints, Lilly’s designs are always work-appropriate, perfect for date nights, and comfortable enough to wear for a daytime chic motif.
THE POWER OF THE ELSA TOP:
Lilly said it best when she dubbed this silk blouse the secret workhorse of your closet. Elsa is relevant year-round and creates an endless of amount of eye-catching looks. Plus, its gorgeous spectrum of available colors makes you wanna catch ’em all (yes, that was a Pokemon reference).
COLD WEATHER COVER-UPS:
We’re spoiled with our weather in the South, but that doesn’t exclude us from having the occasional rush of cold air. These fun and functional sweaters are perfect for sprucing up a plain outfit with a warm pop of color.
CHIC SHORTS & PRETTY PANTS:
No ensemble is complete without classic bottoms. Lilly’s Callahan shorts are my favorite shorts ever made. Ever. They’re the perfect length, come in a variety of adorable solids and prints, and they go with everything. Their capris are equally as functional and adapt from casual afternoon wear to nighttime party pants.
What are you loving so far from the Lilly Pulitzer 2014 Spring Collection? Who else can’t wait to transition into sandal season?!
