Happy Friday, y’all! It’s officially the first day of public access to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2017! Translation: If you don’t have a Nordstrom credit or debit card, you are no longer prohibited from buying Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2017 items! Luckily, Nordstrom knows just how many of us aren’t willing to open up an extra line of credit to shop their sale, so they’ve re-stocked so many great items that sold out over the past week. Click here to check out a round-up of best-selling Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2017 picks that sold out almost immediately during Early Access.
I live almost three hours away from a Nordstrom (you’re the worst, Missouri), so I wasn’t able to play dress up with my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2017 picks right away. I did, however, put in a massive order on the first day of Early Access. Essentially, these are all Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2017 catalog items I was genuinely excited about and wanted to pay money to own… not to be confused with a pile of un-purchased items on the floor of a Nordstrom dressing room. Keep reading to find out which items from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2017 I’ll be keeping and which item (yes, singular) I’ll be returning. For size reference, I’m 5’6.5 and 115 pounds.
Hit #1: AG The Legging Raw Hem Ankle Skinny Jeans, $149.90 // $225
I’ve heard amazing things about AG jeans, and I knew how quickly they sold out during last year’s Nordstrom sale, so I had to test these AG The Legging Raw Hem Ankle Skinny Jeans out for myself. I ordered a size 25, and I have to say… I get what all the fuss is about. They’re the most gorgeous color blue, they’re super flattering, and I can see myself living in these from October through March.
Hit #2: Nordstrom BP. Tie Front Blouse, $31.90 // $49
This BP. tie front blouse was a riskier purchase, since it doesn’t really look all that flattering on the model. However, it’s absolutely adorable in person, and the XS fit me perfectly. It may be my favorite find from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2017. This crisp blouse is styled with an oversized knot for on-trend volume and a button down back for a dressier oxford feel. Oh, and it comes in pink, blue, and white. I’m going to be ordering a white one when/if it comes back in stock! Be careful, though– this top has some negative review, all of which indicate that it runs large. Size down if you order!
Hits #3-4: BP. Rib Neck Cardigan, $31.90 // $49 + Hudson Jeans Elysian Nico Super Skinny Jeans, $119.90 // $198
I was mostly excited about the affordability of this BP. Rib Neck Cardigan, but it’s also incredible quality. I figured black was the most versatile of all the available colors (black, oatmeal, and tan), so I purchased a black cardigan in size S. It’s light enough to wear around the house when I’m chilly, but it’s also warm enough to use as a legitimate layer in the fall.
*PS- Sorry about the dust on my mirror. I cleaned it halfway through my try-on haul cause I’m a newb.
I haven’t bought new jeans in forever, so I took the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2017 as an opportunity to stock up on some higher quality denim, like these Hudson Jeans Elysian Nico Super Skinny Jeans (and some AG The Legging Raw Hem Ankle Skinny Jeans). I’ve always heard amazing things about Hudson Jeans, so when I saw their black super skinny pair go on sale, I had to snag them. They’re ultra-flattering (they’re called super skinny jeans for a reason), comfortable, and they seem to be durable. I ordered a size 25, and they fit perfectly. Can’t wait to get some wear out of these once it gets a little bit cooler.
Hit #5: Lush Roll Tab Sleeve Tunic, $27.90 // $42
I’ve always loved Lush, so it’s really no surprise that I think the Lush Roll Tab Sleeve Tunic is amazing. It’s also under $30 and well worth every penny. I prefer my tops to fit more over-sized than snug, so I ordered both a hunter green and burgundy tunic in small. It’s long enough to tuck in if you want but not too long to leave un-tucked. This top goes with everything, and I’ll definitely be ordering in more colors when this item is re-stocked.
Hit #6: Leith Easy Circle Cardigan, $49.90 // $75
Last year’s version of the Leith Easy Circle Cardigan sold out in under 24 hours, so yes, this was the first item in my shopping cart on Thursday morning. Truth be told, I actually wanted the pale pink color, but it somehow sold out and became unavailable until November when I went to check out. After trying it on, I’m in love with this tan color, and I’m glad I didn’t end up with the pink. It’s much less versatile and harder to layer.
Hit #7: BP. Leopard Print Scarf, $11.90 // $19
I can’t believe this BP. Leopard Print Scarf is under $12. I’ll be wearing it all the time in the fall– and probably buying about a dozen as Christmas gifts (assuming it’s still in stock). It’s much lighter than a traditional blanket scarf, but it’ll definitely still keep you warm in the fall and winter.
Hit #9: Diptyque Scented Candle Set, $55 ($75 Value)
I just moved, and I’m on a pretty tight budget– so I tried to stay away from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2017’s home and beauty deals. They can be dangerous for me. I couldn’t, however, let this Diptyque Scented Candle Set go. I wanted the Diptyque set last year, too, but it sold out (and didn’t come back in stock) SO FAST last year. The set comes with five 1.2oz candles. After the candles burn out, you can use the jars as shot glasses, tiny vases– the options are endless!

Miss #1: Lush Ruffle T-Shirt Dress, $29.90 // $45
I was so bummed about the Lush Ruffle T-Shirt Dress. I wanted to like it so badly! Maybe I just got to the sale too late, but I ended up ordering one in pale pink in a small. I wanted the sage green in a size XS, but the green color was sold out in all sizes by the time I checked out. The small fit me like a potato sack, and I’m relatively curvy. Even if it was just a little bit tighter, the ruffle sleeve detail was nothing special in person. One upside is that it’s incredibly comfy… but that’s not enough to keep me from returning it.
I tried layering the Leith Easy Circle Cardigan over it, too, and it didn’t really help. It still looked/felt like I was wearing a potato sack.
So now that public access has kicked off, what will you be picking up? Things have already been re-stocked and will likely be re-stocked throughout the day, as well as the week, so don’t give up if Nordstrom tells you an item isn’t available. Also, check out my round-up of fifty Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2017 picks that’ll sell out FAST. If they do come back in stock, you know to grab them while you can! Happy shopping!
