I don’t know about y’all, but I am ready for 2015 to be o-ver. It wasn’t a horrible year or anything; there’s just no better occasion for new beginnings than the calendrical recognition of a clean slate. To ring in the new year with a little extra zing and pep, I’ve engaged in a love affair with sequins, and I’ve opted against wearing my default evening color, black. I styled this downright fabulous silver sequin pencil skirt from J. Crew with a cream top and silver accessories for a bright and classic look that I’ll be wearing to a friend’s swanky New Year’s Eve party. Full outfit details are listed at the bottom of this post.

Stay tuned for 6 or 7 different posts about my New Year’s resolutions. Sometimes I go a little overboard with the specificity of my goal setting (ex. I want to eat 6 vegetables 4 days a week during months that end with “y”). The more you dream, the more you do. Right?
I love that this look literally makes you sparkle! The white and metallics give your skin that dewy snow white look~ beautifully radiant!
I love how glitzy the skirt is you could really get away with any neutral top and the white is definitely so pretty on you!! Gorgeous girl and happy new year! xo, Biana –BlovedBoston
