Columbia can’t seem to make up its mind about whether we’re having a comfortable fall or full-blown winter. We had a few inches of snow before Halloween (crazy!) and then the temperature magically jumped back up into the 70s for the last few weeks. For the record, I’m ready for the holidays, but I’m not complaining about these warm days. I bought this orange gingham top for a Halloween party– and then the weather went crazy, so I just figured I’d have to wait a year to wear it. Fortunately, I was able to do so comfortably last weekend (without a jacket!), and it’s one of my favorite Amazon fashion finds of the entire season. I just think it’s so perfect for Thanksgiving Eve and/or casual Thanksgiving or Friendsgiving dinners! Also, if you happen to be a Tennessee fan, this top has Game Day written alllll over it.
Head to the bottom of this post for full outfit details! For reference, I’m wearing a size small in this orange ruffle top. The materials has absolutely zero stretch, so if you’re on the fence, size up. Also, this top definitely looks best tucked in. I have a longer torso, and it’s on the shorter/boxier side, so I can’t see myself wearing it untucked. Just a heads up if you’re not a fan of tucking things in!
I mean, how darling is this one-shoulder ruffle detail!? You can’t really see because my hair is so dark, but it also has the sweetest little shoulder tie. Here’s hoping this top comes out in like 8 other colors… because I’d legitimately buy them all for spring and summer.

Our holiday plans still aren’t firm yet, but if I head down to Florida for Thanksgiving, this’ll definitely be my (humidity-friendly) Thanksgiving Eve outfit. Did y’all know that Thanksgiving Eve is one of the busiest bar nights of the year? It’s always been my favorite excuse for organizing get-togethers with old high school friends, and apparently, that’s the case for everyone else, too– ha!
