I think it’s pretty obvious that God created wind so girls could twirl in skirts. Ashley, Mash, and I stayed in Laguna Beach for 3 days during our LA getaway, and I’m not even exaggerating, the wind was comparable to a Category 1, or at least a legitimate tropical storm, in Central Florida. Don’t get me wrong; the weather was gorgeous. I just didn’t prepare myself for such an intense sea breeze. I’m glad I packed this pink shirred, drop-waist skirt, though– as well as some shorts for underground safety. The fit and color of the skirt are absolutely precious, and it was yet another fabulously frugal find from Banana Republic. I bought it on sale during one of Banana’s 40% off sales, so I literally paid less than $20 for such an adorable spring staple. I’ve listed full outfit details at the bottom of this post, and be on the lookout for a full Laguna Beach recap in the next few days, too.
