I’m told this winter has been an absolute anomaly, but we got even more snow this weekend. I’ve been getting more use out of my red Hunter boots and Bean boots than ever before (not including Maine), and I’m not complaining. I’m also not complaining that I’ve actually learned how to layer without looking like a marshmallow. Turns out, it’s all about the right base layers. My personal favorites are these thermal v-necks, which I’ve been wearing under pretty much everything I own, including this red quilted jacket, crewneck sweater, and oxford. Head to the bottom of this post for full outfit details!
Also, I want to preemptively apologize for the short(er) post today, y’all! My big brother’s wedding is this weekend, so I’m actually writing this in the airport. Y’all, for the first time ever, I’m legitimately sad to leave this weather behind. I’ve never been one to turn down 70 degree Florida weather, but my gosh, Columbia is full of winter magic right now. At least maybe I’ll catch up on my Vitamin D, right?
