Out of nowhere (and I mean out of nowhere), the temperature shot up from -3 to 55 in one night. And it was awesome. The weather is already working its way back down to freezing, so Kyle and I have been trying to make the most of the warmth. Yesterday we stopped to hang out in the adorable town of Belfast and ended up staring out at stunning Belfast Bay for the majority of the afternoon. Since this was my first opportunity in months to wear shoes without socks, I threw on an oversized cable knit sweater with sky blue jeans and grabbed my go-to Converse sneaks for a super relaxed, super cozy look. I picked up this white Ralph Lauren oversized cable knit sweater at TJ Maxx down in Florida. I really have to suggest sizing up in their clothes, especially sweaters. As a reference, this oversized cable knit sweater is a women’s large.
If you’re against the whole oversized fad, I kindly suggest you reconsider. Yes, you run the risk of looking frumpy when you throw on something that isn’t form-fitting, but you can’t beat that comfort! Oh, and PS: My Christmas present to myself, a brand new beautiful Canon 70D DSLR, just came in the mail, so Kyle and I were testing it out for the first time on the dock. Keep scrolling to the bottom of this post to see all the sunset pictures (because the sun sets at 4PM here) and for full outfit details!
