It’s crazy to think that the 4th of July is right around the corner, but y’all… it is! We’re heading to Maine a few days beforehand, so I went ahead and ordered some cute 4th of July outfits on Amazon last week. This red gingham midi dress is hands down my favorite. Not only is it under $30, it comes in almost two dozen different colors and prints and is one of the most adorable dresses I’ve ever seen. I’ll be honest, though– it’s popped up in my recommended items a handful of times, but I always wrote it off. I tend to err on the conservative side of fashion, so I was a little wary of the cut-out. Fortunately, it couldn’t be more subtle. The tie front adds the sweetest, most summery touch to the dress, too!

Also, according to Kyle, this is a perfect “pie making dress.” He came home from work while I was baking a batch of mini strawberry and blueberry pies (tutorial coming later this week!), and he thought it was so fitting.
