I should probably update my motto of life to “Live Colorfully,” since I’m drawn to bright colors like a fat kid is drawn to cake. Any pops of fun inspiration hidden in my bag are instant day-makers, so as soon as I saw the fabulous new Rimmel Keep Calm and Lip Balm line, available only at Walmart, I had to try them all. Aside from the bubbly packaging and spirited look, they’re moisturizing lip balms with a hint of gorgeous tint.

Why am I going to Hawaii exactly? Plain and simple, because I can. Based upon medical advice, I’ve taken a few weeks off work to relax and regain some of my physical strength back. I couldn’t have committed to such a long medical leave without copious amounts of support from my amazing friends. They’ve been posting for me on my social media, updating my blog, and most importantly, calling/texting/snapping me relentlessly to make sure I’m doing okay. There really isn’t any way to repay such compassion, but I can certainly try!
