I always forget how much I love pastel blue until I’m wearing it. It’s just a happy color, and I want the periwinkle section of my anally color-coded closet to drastically expand. Until then, I’ll just continue wearing this fun and asymmetrical light blue shift dress. It’s cut from chiffon with pretty curved trim, and its flattering shift silhouette has breezy spaghetti straps with cute criss-cross details in the back. It also comes in five other colors, including two shades of navy, black, olive green, and bright red– and for under $25, I can confidently say I will eventually own them all. If you’re prone to compulsive twirling like I am, you’ve met your match with this easy, breezy, and asymmetrical gem. Head to the bottom of this post for full outfit details, and beware, the vast majority of the items are on sale for 4th of July weekend!
I paired my dress with blush Elisa pumps from Pour La Victoire. Although I’m a devout advocate for heel wearing, you could totally dress this down with some cute espadrilles and an armful of bangles. So whether you’re styling it as a casual summer look or sweet date night ensemble, this light blue shift dress is a guaranteed summer staple– and an affordable one at that.
