At some unknown point in the middle of February, I go colorblind to the rest of the rainbow and only want to buy things that are green. It happens every year. Green has always been one of my favorite springs colors, and in recent years it’s become the official color of Mental Health Awareness Month in May and one half of the official colors for NEDAwareness Week in February/March (blue is the other color– fun fact). Plus, with Mardi Gras and St. Patrick’s Day just weeks apart, it’s a wise investment for avoiding pinching and ostracism. So, when I saw this pleated green maxi skirt online at SheIn for under $30, I couldn’t pass up the offer.
I’m usually hesitant to buy anything of maxi length between the months of March and December in Florida, since it gets so ridiculously hot in the summer, but this pleated green maxi skirt is light and breezy enough to be worn year round. I’m just about 5’7″, and an XS is the perfect length to wear with flats, like my go-to Tory Burch sandals. I’m also wearing a brand new pair of earrings from SUGARFIX by Baublebar, which is now available at Target, and I’m in love– especially with that $10-20 price point. Head down to the bottom of this post for full outfit details!
