In case y’all can’t tell, I have no qualms whatsoever about showcasing my inner girly girl. However, in my down time, which equates to about 98% of my daily life, I am all about channeling my inner Boho Barbie, meaning pants are unlikely, makeup is natural (if existent), and my limbs enjoy a liberal, full range of mobility. I’ve literally never worn anything more comfortable than this Free Spirit Mini Silk Vest from Subtle Luxury. I’ve found a new soulmate, and her name is silk.
Subtle Luxury is a new California brand of clothing and accessories that is chic, cozy, luxurious, and exceptionally stylish. What more could a girl ask for? Every season their new fabulous patterns can be tied into multi-wear garments, including vests, dresses, wraps, kimono jackets, warm and cozy loomed blanket wraps, etc. Fabulous celebrity fashion icons, such as Alessandra Ambrosio, Jessica Alba, Hilary Duff, and Selena Gomez, have been spotted wearing Subtle Luxury SPUN scarves and cashmere in various thread forms, so if there’s any doubt of quality, you know this stuff is legit.

The Mumbai Paisley- Blue print is absolutely stunning. I don’t think I’ve ever looked or felt so California chic. I decided to tie the silk vest together with a skinny brown braided belt and  style my hair sleek and straight with a relaxed boho side braid.
I went with natural beauty makeup, since being bohemian is all about appreciating simplicity on a deeper level (ie. being hipster). Side note: All products used cost under $10– say what?! The white Wet n Wild shadow around my eyes gives them a bigger and brighter appearance and ties together the whole chicness of the rest of my seemingly bare face. The neutral pink lip color is just enough sparkle to add a little Boho Barbie kick in my step.
Oh, and did I mention that in addition to 17 other wear options, this garment doubles (I don’t know the verb form of the number 18) as a swimsuit cover-up? Cause it does. A really dang cute one, too. A stylish and versatile dress that allows me to pretend to be Boho and Malibu Barbie on the same day? Yes, please, and thank you, Subtle Luxury!
So ya, it’s safe to say I don’t want to take this off. Darn you, day job! Give me some pool days, silk dresses, mimosas, and tanning lotion, and I’ll be one happy camper until the end of time. How would you rock this silk vest? Any suggestions?
Great outfit you look fit.
