Swimsuit season is rapidly approaching, and I don’t know about any of y’all, but my #1 athletic motivator is an arsenal of cute workout clothes. Unfortunately, I have an eye for Lululemon, as most millennials do, and I’m so sick of unraveling, fading, de-softening (if that’s a word), and ultimately ruining the very garments I invest so much money in. The tag usually says “Wash Cold with Light Colors,” but seriously? Way easier said than done, Lulu. Prior to doing a little bit of research, unless I made time to hand wash every delicate item in my laundry, something was bound to get discolored or destroyed. RIP 13 workout tops, 4 tassel kimonos, and too many intimates to count.

Well, anyways, no more. For all my fellow undomesticated ladies, here’s an easy-to-follow guide to washing delicates:

I’m proud to say that I’ve finally reached the glorifying point where I don’t dread washing delicates, including workout clothes, intimates, and formerly “hand wash suggested” garments, because I know I won’t ruin them the second I shut the washer/dryer door. Ever since I started using TIDE PODS®, I’ve been amazed at the fantastic job they’ve done cleaning fabrics I wouldn’t have ever thought could go in a washing machine. You can safely use Tide Pods to machine wash the following fabrics: Cotton, Acrylic, Wool, Lace, Polyamide, Polyurethane, Elastane, Polyester, Rayon, and Spandex.

Tide Pods contain a detergent, stain remover, and brightener in every capsule, and the Spring Meadow scent is to die for– and I’m not just saying that because I’m ecstatic that winter is officially over.
