Wedding season is in full swing, and since I just performed a pretty serious closet purge, I had to go on the hunt for some versatile spring wedding guest dresses. I came across this vintage-inspired tie neck floral dress online and decided to give it a try. I’m super glad I did because A. I absolutely love it, B. I get compliments every time I wear it, and C. it was under $30. Yes, even though I’ve been catching some flack for posting about their products lately, it’s from SheIn. That being said, if you haven’t read my SheIn quality review, I try to be as upfront and honest about their clothing as possible. Some garments are, for lack of a better term, garbage, but some are absolute gems that rival designer quality. This dress fits into the latter category.
Not only is this vintage-inspired floral dress pretty, light, and comfortable, it comes with a nude slip to wear underneath. I’ve gotta say that the slip’s quality is pretty darn impressive, especially given the fact that it’s essentially free. It is a tad bit short, but you can re-wear it underneath any other sheer or semi-sheer items in your closet. Head down to the bottom of this post for full outfit details!
Also, here’s a shot of me and my best friends Ashley and Teresa at Teresa’s wedding this month (definitely going in a frame!). She got married at Hotel du Village in New Hope, and her wedding was straight out of a fairytale. If you don’t already follow them or read their blogs, you should probably check ’em out!
