I haven’t treated myself to a new set of makeup brushes since I competed in Miss Florida USA about three years ago. As you can imagine, an upgrade was long overdue. Also, I’m not too proud to admit that, up until very recently, I had no idea how to “properly” use half of them. It was more of a this seems right kind of situation, and I went with whatever brush looked the cleanest or most practical. Since my old brushes were too stiff to continue using them, it couldn’t have come at a better time. I mean, it’s festival season, and I’ve been looking for some new, more involved looks to try out.
