I’m super excited to talk about Walmart+ with y’all in today’s post! If this is the first you’re hearing about it, Walmart+ is a new membership that gets you free unlimited delivery on orders over $35 (some other restrictions may apply), member prices on fuel, and mobile scan & go access on the mobile app! I literally don’t know what I ever did without it. As someone who works from home, the soon-as-same-day delivery has already become an absolute game-changer. I’m not sure if it’s just me, but I feel like the promise of two-day shipping has turned into unreliable two-week shipping with most other memberships, so it’s unbelievably handy to be able to have essentials like office supplies and groceries (and, in my most recent case, cute Walmart fall decor finds) sitting outside my front door when I need them.

To reiterate, you can order everything from groceries to fall decor to office supplies, and so far, it’s been worth every penny. Case in point, my printer decided to stop working last weekend, and I had a bunch of stuff I needed to print. I looked online and realized I wouldn’t be able to get the one I wanted for at least a week. Then (true story), I checked Walmart to see if my Walmart+ membership could help and literally had it within two hours. I was also recently inspired to decorate our front porch for fall, and thanks to Walmart+, I had everything I needed the same day.

Everything You Need to Know about Walmart+

To recap– Walmart+ is a little different than other memberships you’ve heard about. It gets you free unlimited delivery on orders over $35 (some other restrictions may apply), member prices on fuel, and mobile scan & go access on the mobile app, which allows you to check out with your phone as you shop in-store and can be a huge time saver.

Here are a few other membership specifics worth mentioning– 

How much is it?

Membership is only $12.95 per month, which essentially pays for itself in two deliveries (based on a $7.95 delivery fee), or $98 for the year. I went the annual route, primarily because it saves us an extra $57.40 yearly compared to the monthly membership!

Is it worth the money?

If you sign up for the annual membership, you’re essentially paying $8.17 per month ($98/12). Most delivery fees are around $7.95 per delivery, so if you schedule two deliveries per month, you’re already getting more than your money’s worth. I’ve had a membership for a little over two weeks now, and I’ve used their free unlimited delivery ($35 minimum, restrictions apply) five… maybe six times for various things. So, yeah, it’s already been more than worth the money in my case.

Also, Walmart+ isn’t limited to free unlimited delivery (on orders $35+ and some other restrictions may apply). A membership, depending on your location, also gets you member prices on fuel and mobile scan & go access on the mobile app! I utilized the mobile scan & go access for the first time last week, and it’s another major time saver. It essentially allows you to check out with your phone as you shop, and I love that it’s a contact-free system, too.

Favorite Walmart+ Fall Decor Finds

Of all the deliveries we’ve gotten so far, my personal favorite included a whole bunch of adorable Walmart fall decor. We weren’t going to do anything super special this year, but we started noticing homes in our neighborhood going above and beyond to help bring cheer to the street, and ya, we totally caved. Probably my favorite thing about my Walmart+ membership is that it’s not limited to grocery or home items. It’s limited to whatever’s in stock at your nearest store, which could include furniture, gadgets, board games, office supplies… you name it.
