Kyle and I are still deciding where we want to live, so just in case our next deposit or down payment is astronomically high, I’ve pumped the breaks on most of my discretionary spending. I only want to invest in pieces that I can wear year after year– and I only want to promote products that I believe will stand the test of time. Hence, “capsule wardrobe” garments are the name of the game, and this white lace off the shoulder top by Jack by BB Dakota is one of those superstars. Not only does it literally go with everything, it has a built-in bandeau bralette, comes with optional shoulder straps, and is also available in black and red. This delicate lace off the shoulder top can be worn with shorts or jeans and also looks fabulous tucked into skirts of all virtually lengths (mini, a-line midi, and especially maxi).
Because spring is pretty much already over in Florida, I paired my white lace off the shoulder top with my favorite new pair of jean shorts from Target (which I’ve dubbed my “skinny shorts”), hot pink/ white accessories, and some suede platform sandals for a spring-to-summer transitional look. I’ve gotta tell y’all how shockingly comfortable these Glynda wedges are. Truthfully, I was skeptical about ordering them because my feet are super wide and, well, manly, but the adjustable laces, cushioned sock, and Italian leather lining somehow mesh into a style that’s comfortable, can be worn all day, and looks fabulous even on the most unattractive feet. Plus, they’re nude with a heel height of 5″, so these beauties do wonders for your legs. Head to the bottom of this post for full outfit details!
