Y’all– it’s been an embarrassingly long time since I’ve gotten my hair done. Traveling doesn’t make scheduling appointments any easier, so hair maintenance has completely escaped my mind for the past 5-6 months. However, when people start complimenting you on your ombre hair when you aren’t supposed to have ombre hair, it’s time for an upgrade. I don’t have a specific salon or stylist I trust up here, so I grabbed my new pink winter coat and headed to the only place I knew I could trust on both price and quality, Hair Cuttery.
Eryn, my stylist, suggested the Color Escape package for me, which includes a single application color, shampoo, Redken® Chemistry Treatment, cut, and blow dry, and I couldn’t turn it down for the price. FYI- Hair Cuttery salon prices vary by location, so even if you check online, be sure to call and ask how much your service will cost beforehand. Anyways, Eryn did a fabulous job, so please try not to laugh at my horrid before-and-after picture.
Yikes, color-damaged ombre isn’t a good look for me. There’s nothing like sprinkling in some warmer tones to balance out a colder winter– am I right? I’m loving this darker shade of brown, and I can hardly believe how much healthier my hair looks and feels. Kyle needed a haircut, too, so after our appointments, we debuted our new ‘dos at a fabulous dinner at David’s KPT in Kennebunkport. It’s already freezing (literally) up here, and now that it gets dark so early, I don’t go anywhere without a heavy coat. I just received this gorgeous and shockingly (and I mean shockingly) affordable pink winter coat from SheIn in the mail, and I paired it with a striped black and white dress, black tights, and black booties for a chic yet comfy look. Head to the bottom of this post for full outfit details!
