I moved to Tampa a few weeks ago, and my house is virtually empty. I’m slowly tackling the decor room by room. My living room is finally coming along, thanks primarily to a handful of fabulous Christmas gifts. In my old office, I designed what was known as my “Wall of Motivation,” so now that I’m technically working from home with this whole blogging shindig, I wanted to create a similar wall art collage in my new space, as well. I’ve become more and more into photography art over the past few years. However, I simply don’t have the equipment (or the talent) to try to tackle any crafty photographic projects on my own. Well, at least not well enough to print and display in a 30 x 40 inch frame. I leave that to the pros. I found this Tulipshowers photograph by HafnHaf Studios on Minted‘s website, and I fell in love the moment I saw it, so I designed the rest of my wall art collage around it.

The colorful spring hues in the tulips add palpable positive vibes to the room, so I tried to stick with a pink, green, and neutral tone theme throughout the entire room. In case you’re in the market for any particular style of artwork (fine art, typography, photography, etc), Minted is an amazing online marketplace that connects you with independent artists from all over the world. To compliment the vibrant Tulipshowers piece, I framed two old Lilly Pulitzer bags and a vintage Tory Burch postcard. Then I purchased some classic white and gold typography art, like this Pop Fizz Clink canvas. I found a gorgeous pink flamingo painting with gold accents at Nordstrom, and I love the way it adds another colorful pop of pink (and Florida) to the wall. Also, every southern living room needs interesting reading material, so my mama bought me All in Good Taste by Kate Spade New York to compliment my stash of vintage Lilly Pulitzer catalogs. Lastly, these fun upholstered arm chairs are from Threshold at Target. For being such a bold pattern, they fit in seamlessly with my wall collage art decor. I’m so glad I grabbed them before they went out of stock.

Again, I apologize for the glare on some of the pictures. I’ve gotta say– these photos really don’t do my wall art collage justice. Basically, I have a new respect for art photographers. Where do you shop for art? I only have like 7 other rooms to go before the house is fully decorated… womp.
