Being from Florida, ie home of the humidity, Winter is really the only season conducive to attempting easy new looks involving any degree of volume. It’s also an opportune time to test out new styling tools. I’d seen the Infiniti Pro by Conair® Curl Secret® tourmaline ceramic curler on TV before, but as a general rule of thumb in hair preservation, any device that involves feeding hair into a mechanical chamber raises a reasonable level of concern. I finally manned up and decided to give it a go during my last shopping expedition at Walmart– oh my gosh, I’m so glad I did. This is a miracle styling tool that’s safe for your hair and creates consistent beautiful, shiny curls in seconds.
It looks a little intimidating, and the caveat, “This side towards the head,” is in bold… so I wouldn’t recommend trying things out in the opposite direction. Once you’ve got the basic no-no’s down, it’s actually incredibly easy to use, and I’m still in awe of how quickly it produces quality curls.
The Infiniti Pro by Conair® Curl Secret® makes perfect curls that stay in tact for days. This is beneficial because it allows you to use the same curls for several different hair styles over the course of a 48-72 hour period. My go-to do for events and holiday soirees usually involves flowing Victoria Secret bombshell curls, but I rarely have the time to let my hair sit in hot rollers long enough to stay put all night. I curled my entire head in under 20 minutes with the Curl Secret®, which is unheard of in Stephanie’s Hair Land, and it’s still going strong 2 days later.
To get full volume curls yourself with the Curl Secret®, you’ll need to start by combing through clean and dry hair, ensuring it’s smooth and tangle-free. Section off your hair to ensure it all gets curled evenly. Once the Curl Secret® is heated up and ready to go, take sections of .5-1″ and position your hair in the Curl Secret®. Close the handle where you want your curl to begin, and your hair will automatically be drawn into the curl chamber. You hold it there for about 5 seconds until you hear a rapid beep, which signals the curl is ready to be released. Repeat until you’ve got a whole head of perfect curls.
Once you’re all curled up, the sky’s the limit with classic holiday hairstyles. One of my favorites is the braided half-up, half-down style. Take two sections of hair that frame your face and braid each one. If you’re fancy, you can french braid the sections for an even more bombshell look, but I usually use regular braids for more casual affairs. Pull them both back and pin in place with Conair Bobby Pins.
This last style is my all-time favorite, and it involves every beauty queen’s favorite styling technique– teasing. Using a fine-toothed comb, tease the heck out of the top layer of your hair, spraying hairspray generously along the way. Pull the section of your hair back and pin in place with Conair Bobby Pins.
Next, take a Conair paddle brush or round brush and brush out some of your curls for a shinier look. Pull your hair back loosly in a low pony tail and spray generously with more hairspray. You can add ribbons (like moi), barrettes, flowers… basically whatever you want to further embellish your adorable dressed up low pony.
And you’re good to go with an easy, classy, and festive hairstyle that you’ve created in under 20 minutes.
So where can you find this dream curling device? Walmart, of course! Look for the Health/Beauty section, and you’ll find the Infiniti Pro by Conair® Curl Secret® with the rest of the hair styling tools. Another great new product available at Walmart is the Conair Pro 3Q Blow Dryer, which reduces drying time by up to 70% with lower temperature and faster airflow to minimize heat damage.
What’s your go-to holiday hair style? Have you given the Curl Secret a try yet?
I keep meaning to give the curl secret a try. Like you, I have been a bit wary of it, but I keep seeing great results like the ones that you got.

Your hair looks fantastic, I wish mine could hold a curl like that. A ribbon is a great hair accessory, especially during the holidays.

I've never been interested in the Curl Secret but I do LOVE curls and a red bow around the holidays. It feels so very Blair Waldorf or something. Gorg!

I give you a LOT of credit for trying that bad boy out girl. I saw it on TV and literally thought to myself how there was NO WAY I'd ever use something that sucked up my hair. But you rock it!! I love the looks.
I live in humidity land, too…I'm very glad to have a Curl Secret…they make the only curls that last in my hair! #client
