Does anybody else endure dry skin during the harsh weather change? I’m constantly looking for great methods of moisturizing, but my skin is so sensitive that I’m limited to what I can use. Plus, I’m super picky about scents… so that eliminates about 95% of all lotions on the market.I haven’t given body butter a try since middle school, but thanks to iFabbo, I was able to try Perlier Imperial Honey Body Butter prior to my trip to DC. It’s made from the rare honey of Black Bees, combined with Royal Jelly– which sounds kind of disgusting– to formulate a luxurious skin moisturizer.
What I really like about this product is that it’s effectively nourishing and instantly softens your skin. Apparently those African Black Bees have incredible talent when it comes to human skincare. The body butter’s effects are long-lasting, and my skin exudes a healthy and imperial glow after use. In addition to using Perlier as a body moisturizer, I’ve been slathering it on my “backside cushion spots” (ie. cellulite) to see if it has any toning capabilities, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised. Call me an optimist, but I truly feel like it has been firming my upper thighs—at least to the level of Nivea and Jergins’ skin firming formulas.
Now, as I said before, I’m extremely sensitive to scents… and although this is far from intrusive, the sensual notes of Honey and Oriental woods are a little much for full body application. I just use Perlier’s body butter on my extreme areas of dryness in order to mitigate my chances of smelling like a bee hive…and also in an attempt to save this quite valuable product. The Imperial Honey Body Butter is sold on the HSN, and a 6.7oz tub retails for $40, which is a pretty steep increase from the $15-$20 range of products from The Body Shop or Bath and Body Works. The good news is that if you enter the code below, you can get $5 off your next Perlier purchase on HSN! Score!

All-in-all, Perlier just makes really good stuff, especially if you’re into all-natural health and beauty elixirs. Check out their complete line on the HSN for more of their luxurious skincare line. Here are a few more of my Perlier honey-whipped favorites:
Their products range from $15-$100+, and for the quality, I truly believe they have some of the best all-natural products on the market. Plus, they make ah-mazing holiday gifts. Only 48 days til Christmas! Just sayin’!
I totally agree, my skin always gets so dry in the winter time and I find myself lathering on the moisturizer. Perlier sounds amazing, thanks for the recommendation! -Alex http://monstermisa.blogspot.com
I might ask my hubby for this for a Christmas gift. The Chicago winters are very brutal and I need something for my dry skin. Thanks for the review. BTW, did you watch the Miss Universe pageant?
It's good stuff! And no! I went to the UCF game instead, but I did record it on DVR, so I'm going to watch it tonight. I spoiler alerted myself and saw who won already… whoops lol what did you think?
This sounds great but I really do dislike the cost of most all natural things. Of course, I still tend to buy them. I think the scent is one that I would really like.
I do, too, and it's the worst!!! I love this stuff, it's perfect for enduring those super cold months (which in Florida equals 70 degrees). Thanks for stopping by, Kirstin! 🙂
I love Perlier! Their shea butter line is my favorite!
I'm obsessed, and I think my mama would love it. Christmas present central.

My thoughts exactly, Mitch! Smart man.
Sounds Heavenly, will have to look further into!
Do! It's worth the research. Have a wonderful res of your weekend, pretty!
Ooo this sounds so nice! Seems like it would make a great stocking stuffer.
Couldn't agree more, Emily!
I'm always looking for new lotions! This sounds like a great lotion to treat myself to every once in a while!
Exactly! I've been using mine for a little over 3 weeks, and I've barely made a dent in the tub. Score!

I'm tired of Miss Venezuela winning. After I heard she won, I didn't even bother to watch it. Call me a hater, oh well LOL.

Agreed… all-natural=$$$ in the eyes of marketers, but I do like this stuff. Worth the money in my opinion!
This sounds like such good stuff!!! I always have such dry skin, especially when it gets cold outside.

Yeah I had the same issue with the scent but besides that I loved it! 🙂
Same! I love the stuff, but I can't use it as a full-body lotion, which is unfortunate. Glad somebody else shares my sensitivity to smells! 🙂
