This is probably the most obvious statement ever, but I love my mom. She’s always been my hero. As the single mom of three kids, she never gave anything but her best. When money was especially tight, she would sell whatever she could, including her heirloom jewelry, to buy us school supplies. While studying for her pediatric board certification, she always made time to help us with our homework. I remember thinking, “Am I supposed to know all this stuff when I’m a mom?” Seriously, even during AP Calculus, she was able to help me solve math problems with ease. I’m still suspicious that she bought her own copy of my Calculus book to help me through it, but I digress. I was never intimidated by math (or any S.T.E.M. roadblocks) because she gave me the confidence to tackle whatever problem was in front of me. She’s the reason I have an Actuarial Science degree.
For the first time in my life, my mom and I live in separate states thousands of miles apart. To complicate matters more, she’s also a hospice physician with a more demanding work schedule than I could ever imagine. Unfortunately, time together isn’t something either of us get enough of. So, I devised a plan with my two older brothers to fly home and surprise her for Mother’s Day. I also wanted to get her something that would remind her how much we love and appreciate her– even when we’re not close by. As usual, I turned to Jared The Galleria Of Jewelry to find the perfect gift for Mother’s Day. Jared has a large selection of fine jewelry for any milestone or occasion– and at all price points, too, so I knew I’d be in good hands.
My main goal was to find a palpably meaningful piece that could only be for her. I went into Jared The Galleria Of Jewelry in Oviedo, FL expecting to spend a couple hours searching for jewelry ideas for mom– but I underestimated their sales associates. Jared has a way of turning feelings into jewelry, and they’re always dedicated to helping their guests find (or make!) the perfect piece to express how you feel about your loved ones. I told them that my mom’s style is classic and simple. In other words, anything flashy was off the table. Also, most of the jewelry my mom had to sell when we were little featured precious gemstones, primarily diamonds. So, I wanted either a diamond pendant necklace or diamond earrings that she could wear every day. I also wanted it to have three stones to remind her how much her three babies love and admire her.
Did I mention the Jared team is always a good time? I had a little too much fun trying stuff on!
They eventually directed me straight to the perfect collection, and I found a necklace that was tailor-made for my mom. It features three stunning round diamonds, one for each of us, arranged on a bar of 14-karat white gold.
I couldn’t wait to wrap up her necklace, and I ended up giving it to her the first night I was in town! My mom absolutely loved it, and our hearts were so full!
Surprising my mom for Mother’s Day was and will remain one of the highlights of my year. I’m super glad my big brother Tony was there to capture one of the most precious #JaredTimelessMoments… even though he refused to be in any of our photos!

That is a beautiful necklace. I like that it is small and dainty looking! Very pretty!
You picked a really lovely gift for your mom. I love the simple but elegant design of the necklace. I haven’t gotten my mom a gift for Mother’s day this year. I guess I have to get busy this weekend and choose a nice gift for her.
I like the necklace, so neat and fab! I think I will get my Mom a necklace this Mother’s day.
