When I come across one (or two) of the best hair styling tools for women of ALL hair types, I feel like I’ve hit a personal goldmine. My hair is as tricky as hair comes. It’s oily, thick, and coarse with a propensity for frizziness and reluctance to holding a curl. So, when I find styling tools that work on my thick coarse hair, I know it can work on just about any woman’s hair. I picked up a few of the newest styling appliances from Conair, and I’m super excited to share them with y’all today! If you’re looking for a way to dry your hair quickly– and with less damage from heat, this blow dryer is for you. Honestly, I think it’s the absolute best blow dryer for thick coarse hair. It uses a special HeatProtect electronic brushless motor that generates up to 70% more air pressure and dries hair quickly at a lower temperature. If you don’t have thick coarse hair, the Conair 3Q Dryer has 3 heat and 2 speed settings to work for all hair types. To show y’all how well the Conair 3Q Dryer works, here’s my hair from start to finish. I blow dried my hair in just under 10 minutes.

So what makes this blow dryer so special? The ionic ceramic technology provides infrared heat to gently dry hair. In layman’s terms, heat damage is minimized. Hair is also less frizzy and more manageable. I’ve seen this (falsely) advertised on virtually every styling tool I’ve ever used, but the Conair 3Q Dryer actually delivers. How to Straighten Hair with the InfinitiPRO by Conair 2-in-1 Styler

First and foremost, as a straightener, it does its job flawlessly. It works just like a regular ceramic straightener, so there’s no learning curve. The black titanium, ceramic-coated internal plates help smooth down fly-aways and frizz, while evenly distributing heat, so your style has a salon-perfect, silky smooth, and shiny finish. How to Curl Hair with the InfinitiPRO by Conair 2-in-1 Styler

I briefly mentioned this above, but my hair hardly ever holds a curl. When I competed in pageants, I had to leave hot rollers in all day (during rehearsals and up until the last few minutes before show time) if I wanted any glimpse of volume on stage. Ever since I discovered the wonder of curling my hair with a straightener, it’s been the best way to curl straight hair for me. It’s also been the only method that’s ever worked consistently. Because this tool is a straightener and a curling iron, the Conair 2-in-1 Styler gives you some serious bombshell curls. To use, separate a section of hair. The smaller the section, the more defined the curl. I like mid-to-loose curls, so I sectioned off 1-1.5 inch pieces of hair. Place each section of hair between the plates, roughly 3 inches from your roots.

Turn the style 180 degrees on itself, so that the hair is wrapped around the outside of the styler. Slowly pull from root to tip in a downward motion and release hair. It may take you a few times to get the motion down right– I’ll admit it took me a few tries. To make sure the curl stays put, hold the end of the section your have curled and twist in the direction of the curl.

Repeat until your hair is completely curled! There’s no product whatsoever in my hair (no hairspray, no curling gel), and my curls stayed intact all day. More importantly, they stayed shiny and soft. In case you can’t tell, I seriously love this thing! It’s the best way to curl straight hair– no matter how thick, coarse, or frizzy it is!
