I’m happy to be back in Florida, but I definitely didn’t miss the humidity while I was gone. There was a nice two-week window of perfect spring weather, but now we’re in full blown summer mode. Consequently, my hair is a one big never-ending mess. Since it’s thick, dry, unruly, and Italian (jealous?), I need products that fight humidity to their core. I recently went to Hair Cuttery for a much-needed shampoo/cut/blowout, and they introduced me to some of the absolute best products for dry frizzy hair from Redken.
I told my stylist at Hair Cuttery that humidity is one of my biggest beauty concerns, and she started listing off her picks for the best products for dry frizzy hair. To sum up all her advice in one semi-short sentence, the Redken Frizz Dismiss line is an answered prayer for anyone looking for help with their dry, frizzy, or dry frizzy hair. My stylist shampooed and conditioned my hair with Frizz Dismiss Sulfate-Free Shampoo and Conditioner and then applied some Frizz Dismiss Intense Smoothing Treatment Mask on my wet hair for about ten minutes. Once my hair was pampered enough, she sprayed on some Redken Frizz Dismiss Smooth Force Lotion Spray before styling. Keep scrolling for a few more recommendations for the best products for dry frizzy hair– and, of course, for full outfit details!
And the final product looked like…. hair goals. I was blown away at how easily my hair curled… and how long those curls stayed intact. Throughout one windy thunderstorm and two days of 90 degree heat, my blowout lasted three wonderful days.
Two more of Redken’s best products for dry frizzy hair are their Color Extend Magnetics Mega-Mask (formulated for color-treated hair if that isn’t obvious) and their No Blow Dry NBD Just Right Cream. No Blow Dry NBD is perfect for those days when you don’t want to blow dry your hair, but you also don’t want an air-dried nest on top of your head.

And lastly, a good hair day should never go to waste. Hence, after getting the perfect affordable shampoo/cut/blow dry from Hair Cuttery, I met up with Ashley Brooke for a girl’s night at International Mall in Tampa. I love the structured fit of this off-shoulder top, and I’m obsessed with these designer espadrille dupes from Steve Madden! Keep scrolling for full outfit details.

After using all the aforementioned Redken products for over two weeks now, I can corroborate my stylist’s claim that these are the absolute best products for dry frizzy hair. Now’s the time of year when Florida gets uncomfortably moist (sorry– I know it’s a gross word, it just best describes our climate), and I haven’t been living in messy buns. Thanks for keeping my hair healthy and frizz-free, Hair Cuttery!
I’m currently using MorocconOil’s Styling Creme to tame my frizz, I’ve been using it for around 3 years now.
I have to use some type of Argan Oil or else my hair becomes total frizz….
I use Living Proof and Redken products. Your hair is stunning by the way ????
I love Argan Oil products to fight frizz. I will have to check out these products.
I haven’t found anything I really like on my hair. I just end up with it braided. Ill have to try some of these products
I love the Redkin Frizz Dismiss! Bye bye frizz and fly aways!!
I have frizz but i just kind of let it run free. These products look like they work very nicely!
Thanks for talking about this products- definitely worth to look into! love it. 🙂
Your hair looks gorgeous, as you do! I love that top with the white jeans and how you styled it. Great job as always. I use Kenra hair products but I don’t think I have one primary product to battle frizz. Living in Mississippi is much like Florida and is hot and humid more often than not. I will definitely check into the Redken products.
When my hair gets too frizzy, I use John Frieda’s Frizz Ease. Your hair is really beautiful.
I use Frizz Ease by John Frieda when my hair gets the frizzy.
I always use Redken’s Heavy Cream after I shampoo. Not marketed as a frizz-fighter,, but so moisturizing it tames all the frizzies!
I have not tried any Redken product before. I usually use Argon oil to tame frizzes but I’d love to try the Frizz Dismiss line.
I don’t really have any products I like for fighting frizz. I appreciate these recommendations!
Honestly I don’t use any frizz fighting products. But maybe I should! hahaha
I love Redken too!
I should be using something for frizz, but just using conditioner right now. Your hair looks great, I wish I could get mine like that. I will definitely be trying the products you are using. Thank you so much for your recommendations.
