I’ve always been envious of those women who wake up before the crack of dawn, run 16 miles in under 30 minutes, and miraculously look fabulous for work an hour later. One day, in the very distant future, I will belong to this click of wonder women. But for now, I’m focusing on harnessing whatever morning energy I can muster. Everyone knows the key to a great morning is a great breakfast, so I’ve been experimenting with power breakfast smoothies over the past few weeks. I found one that I’m obsessed with, and it’s a low calorie coconut chia smoothie recipe!
Before spilling the details on the coconut chia smoothie recipe, I should warn you that I can’t stand drinking my calories. If given the choice between soda and cupcakes, I’ll go with cupcakes any day of the week. Ergo, I started using Zing™, which is a lifesaver for anti-artificial sugar substitute shoppers. Zing™ Zero Calorie Stevia Sweetener and Zing Baking Blend only have 5 calories per serving and are made with stevia leaf extract and pure cane sugar. Perfect sweetness with real ingredients and zero calories? Um, yes, please. If you’d like to try it for yourself, you can order a free sample and use this handy store locator for a nationwide list of stores that carry Zing.
