Gossip Girl is and will forever remain one of my favorite shows of all time. Aside from making Blair Waldorf my unofficial entrepreneurial and style icon, the show made me fall in love with Blake Lively. She’s such a classic beauty, and I can’t think of a single movie she was in that I don’t like. Naturally, I can’t wait to see The Age of Adaline, which opens April 23rd at 7PM nationwide. Hello, girls movie night! Give me some pre-movie vino, popcorn, chocolate, and Blake Lively, and I’m a happy clam.

In case you haven’t seen the trailer yet, Adaline Bowman (Blake Lively) is immune to the unfortunate ravages of time and will never age another day. She’s kept her life and anti-aging condition a secret and has consequently never been able to settle down and fall in love, although she’s found some hotties along her journey. She pretty much perpetually lives life on the run, which {unfortunately} relates to my very twisted life quite well, although my aging is by no means delayed. Since I don’t have time for romance at the moment {sorry not sorry, boys}, I’m most excited about see the visually stunning aspects of The Age of Adaline, showcasing a variety of evolving women’s fashion and styles throughout the decades. I’m such a sucker for Roaring Twenties makeup, hair, and ensembles, so this movie alone will probably inspire the planning of a Gatsby party or two.  Plus, a good cast never hurts– think Harrison Ford, cutie pie Anthony Ingruber, and Ellen Burstyn.

Just in case any of you aren’t as excited to see The Age of Adaline as I am, here’s the official movie trailer:

Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a girls night to plan! Who is in Orlando and wants to come join my girlfriends and me for an epic The Age of Adaline viewing and wine drinking party?!
