Us Virgin Islands Vacation

Well, y’all… It’s been less than 12 hours, and I’m already missing what my big brother refers to as the cool island breeze of the US Virgin Islands. My cruise around the Eastern Caribbean was amazing. Our 7-day vaca took us from Cape Canaveral to CocoCay, Bahamas to St. Thomas to St. Maartin then back to sunny FL. My BFF, S, was a last minute substitute for my mother, who unfortunately couldn’t make it due to a scheduling conflict, and I don’t think you could’ve given me two better partners in crime (PIC#1-Tonx McAwesome aka Brother Bear//PIC#2- Sarah aka SayMac aka S).

This one-week prelude to my birthday weekend (25 on Friday, heyo!) is one for the history books. I hope you enjoy my day-to-day breakdown.

.on board the Freedom of the Seas & ready to cruise.

.playing around on the gorgeous balcony before dinner.

.feed us, please.

.oh hey, CocoCay. stop being so pretty.

.my brother, my studmuffin.

.don’t mind if we do. thanks, Birchbox, for the nail polish.

.the sunsets were breathtaking.

.me and TZ on Formal Night.

.I’d be totally content with this view for like…ever.

.cheers, we’re on a boat. newest obsession? strawberry mimosas.

.laying on deck & cruising at sea.

.burnt & sequinned for our self-proclaimed Casino Night.

.no Caribbean Casino Night would be complete without margaritas.

.St. Thomas!!!.

.bad weather=cancelled excursion=entire day spent at Senor Frogs.

.epic fail. we were not in Puerto Rico.

.seriously, the St. Thomas lights at night were a sight to be seen. gorgeous.

.finally a sunny day in St. Maartin.

.snorkeling and hardcore playing on this magical floating tiki hut.

.seriously, Florida? why can’t our water look like this?.

.sunburns=maxi dress night.

.more frolicking at sea.

.raspberry pina coladas.

.in nautical heaven.

.it’s LOBSTA night.

.yeaaa, champagne & matching Essie Madison Ave-Hue nails, alright.

.last day with our favorite waiter, Loyall.

.so sad we needed mimosas.

.finally trying out GoSmile– official review to come!.

.see a difference? oh, please excuse the absence of makeup.

.neon alert! we couldn’t leave without a final picture on the light-up bridge.

As for next weekend? Well, I’m turning 25 on Friday! Nuts! I sometimes still think I’m 22, which is either a sign of my hesitation to age or early dementia.  Anyways, I’ll be sure to keep y’all posted. Have a fabulous week, lovebugs!

Well you just made my day 🙂 Thank you so much, Heather! Um, I'd say my top 3 tips would be drink enough water, sleep sufficiently, and pair your carbs with protein. Hope you're having a fabulous week!
