I would typically advise against Floridians wearing maxi style anything, just because of the unrelenting sunshine and heat, but with this gorgeous spring weather we’ve been graced with, I’m all about them. Maxi skirts are perfect for classing up any ordinary outfit with an added element of bohemian sophistication.

I’m obsessed with this gray and white striped cinched waist maxi skirt from Joe B, which is on sale for $20 at Kohl’s–cray, and I literally haven’t taken it off in days. I wore it to the Winter Park farmer’s market, Millenia Mall, and out to dinner with my girlfriends, in addition to embarrassingly long laundry list of other outings. I’m pretty sure anyone who has seen me out more than once this week is incredulous about whether or not I own other clothing. But who cares– it pairs so well with anything pastel! I love pastels. So naturally, I chose coral, since it’s my all-time favorite spring hue. Mint is a close second, but coral takes the cake all day, every day.

As for my accessories, I’m wearing my most comfortable gold Guess wedges and my versatile Vineyard Vines canvas clutch. I finally switched out my beloved Michael Kors for this incredibly inexpensive Geneva boyfriend watch, and I complimented it with Lily and Laura, more coral, and a monogrammed gold bracelet from 9th & Elm. As you probably know, monograms are a weakness of mine, and 9th & Elm makes some amazing personalized quality pieces for under $50.

Additionally, I paired this adorable coral top with coral teardrop earrings and a white stone statement necklace. One of my favorite qualities of standard boho style is that you can never-over-accessorize in my opinion. The more jewelry, the better.

My hair is style via DryBar, and I opted for a messy tussled look. Yes, this was intentional. Also, my makeup is reasonably minimal, but I did go heavier than normal on the eyes.

What spring trends are you loving right now? Maxis, lace, pastels?!

You remind me of my real world friend Megan from Stylish & Scatterbrained… and you can always pick out a southern blogger by their love of monograms. I find it quite endearing and authentic.

I love the coral and that maxi (we have a similar skirt at Anthropologie)… and that is such a great clutch!
