It’s the Great Pumpkin, Ashley Brooke:
Fun at the Club Lake Plantation Fall Festival

It’s mid-October, so I was definitely due for an annual visit to the Club Lake Plantation Fall Festival in Apopka, FL. Luckily, I was able to to introduce Ashley Brooke, fellow pumpkin lover, to the festival for the first time, and despite the 90+degree weather, we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day on the farm.
It was a little difficult, by the way, to pry adoring parents away from their cute kids and politely force them to give us impromptu photoshoots on cameras they stared at like aliens. During that whole shebang, we got some great shots of the floor, random selfies, and a handful of blurry “Figure It Out!” type puzzles.  Regardless, Ash and I made some friends, picked our two perfect pumpkins, and ate some honest-to-goodness festival food– hellooo, banana pudding.

There is no better taste in this world than Club Lake Plantations’s banana pudding. I’m telling y’all.

Technically, none of this was lunch, since we’d eaten a healthy entre at Steak ‘N Shake an hour prior; but hey! It’s holiday season! Everybody’s allowed to have 2-3 these days, obviously.  Well, we’re getting closer to Halloween.

Hope everybody’s got some hauntingly fun plans!

This looks so much fun!! I've been dying to go to a pumpkin patch. All the American blogs are making me really jealous lol. You don't get pumpkin patches in Scotland nor do we celebrate fall/halloween in quite the same style as you do across the pond … Very upsetting for me 🙁 lol.

Your pumpkins are so pretty and perfect looking! Don't worry about the heat- we are in Michigan and on the day we went to pick ours, it was nearly 90 degrees. (Which is super strange for here, but it's true!)

These are some good looking photos you took. It looks like you had a lot of fun at the pumpkin patch. I enjoy our trips to them every year. I can't wait to go on Tuesday to ours.
