We recently gave our patio a much-needed refresh, and to stay that it was long overdue is an understatement. Our outdoor sofa was falling apart, our once-light blue rug had turned a dull brown-gray, and the whole space just felt outdated and cluttered. It was time for a change! Since I love a peaceful coastal aesthetic (primarily because it reminds me of home), I turned to my collection of Serena and Lily catalogs for coastal patio decor inspiration. Their effortlessly chic coastal style is my dream, but their prices? Not so much. Thankfully, I found several affordable alternatives on Amazon that offer the same breezy beachy charm without the hefty price tag. From stylish outdoor rugs and cozy throw pillows to chic patio furniture, these finds completely transformed our space without breaking the bank.
In today’s post, I’m sharing eight of my favorite coastal patio decor finds from Amazon to help you create a serene and stylish outdoor retreat. 1. Striped Cabana Beach Towels– Available in multiple colors, these striped cabana beach towels have amazing reviews for their thick absorbent fabric and durability after washing! The blue is my personal favorite– it has that effortlessly chic Serena and Lily look without the high price tag. Perfect for beach days, poolside lounging, or backyard relaxation!
2. Fringe Patio Umbrella– This gorgeous patio umbrella has amazing reviews (especially compared to competitors) and is perfect for pool days, picnics, and outdoor lounging! We purchased the blue striped pattern, and it adds such a calming, resort-like flair to our backyard patio. A friend of ours also bought three for her pool deck, and they look absolutely stunning.
3. Outdoor Lattice Planter Box– The price tag on these white outdoor planter boxes is unreal. They’re durable, too, and look adorable on patios and front porches! We have two on our front porch and planted hydrangeas inside. Keep in mind that they’re made of polypropylene plastic, though, which aids in their durability but can feel cheap.
4. Ceramic Garden Stool– This versatile little ceramic garden stool is perfect for holding drinks, plants, and other coastal patio decor. It doubles as extra seating, too, which is always a plus!
5. Artificial Spiral Topiary Tree– Boxwood is probably my favorite evergreen shrub. It’s technically more of a southern plant, since it grows best in warmer climates, but that’s what artificial plants are for, right?! I love these because they withstand all kinds of weather and still look lush (and pretty darn real) even years later.
6. Coastal Tassel Pillow Cover– These coastal pillow covers are so darling and give me major Serena and Lily vibes! They come in a few different patterns and are available in two sizes (square and lumbar). They’re also water repellent and made with material that very closely resembles Sunbrella. Keep in mind that the pillow inserts aren’t included, though!
7. Patio Sling Chair Set– These patio sling chairs come in a set of two and are perfect for outdoor lounging! They fold for easy storage, too, so you fit them in just about any car for beach days and tailgates. The price is incredible, too, but (heads up!) shipping isn’t included.
8. Blue Indoor/Outdoor Patio Rug– I just bought this to replace the aforementioned blue-turned-brown rug on our patio, and I’m obsessed. The geometric pattern is so fun, and it’s the perfect shade of blue to match the rest of our coastal patio decor! Also, the other color looks white, but it’s actually light gray, so it hides dirt well, too.
