I don’t know about you, but Super Tuesday always manages to light a fire under my politically inactive feet. Regardless of which party you belong to or which candidate you personally endorse, throwing an election party can easily become one of the most enjoyable experiences of the year. Not only can you attempt to sway your guests with subliminal messaging (Right On, To The Left), you can get other people excited about the voting process. Maybe it’s the former pageant queen in me talking, but one of the biggest problems with today’s youth is voter apathy (ignorance is a very, very close second). Encourage everyone to rock the vote with a fun “debate watch” or election party with these adorable supplies from the Swoozies Political Partying Collection.
I’m particularly obsessed with the Stars and Stripes Party Pinwheels (above), which cost $29.95 for a set of eight, and I’ve also rounded up 14 of my other favorite election party essentials below. Keep in mind that everything that comes in red also comes in blue– and vice versa. I squeezed in as many items as I could, but be sure to check out Swoozies.com for the full collection; it’s too adorable to ignore.

Let’s rock the vote, people! May the least horrible person win. Time to get the PARTY started!
Ah, gorg! Love the idea of an election party… I still remember getting free ‘I Voted’ Sprinkles cupcakes during the ’12 elections ha 🙂
Really cute ideas! My fiancé and I disagree too much on political issues to be able to celebrate and decorate for elections. It would be a disaster. Maybe someday he will change his ideas and then we can party together! Lol.
I love the idea of an election party! This is such a cute idea.
