Everybody needs a little afternoon pick-me-up every now and again! Nothing brightens my day more than friends or co-workers surprising me with special treats– all the while, my “thoughtfulness” usually involves buying store cupcakes or giving hugs. Well, no more! I’m trying my hardest this year to learn the tricks of the bakerella trade, and everybody’s got to start somewhere, even if that means squeezing letters and designs on a golden block of heaven.
For those of you who also weren’t blessed with the domestic gene, we have to get a bit more creative when it comes to concocting ideas for {edible} special treats. From experience, monogrammed Rice Krispies Treats are probably the easiest springtime mood booster you can make for your family and friends. All you need is an 8-count box of Rice Krispies Treats, green and pink icing with decorative tubes, and some cute presentation boxes, all of which can be found at Target.
Now obviously you don’t have to use pink and lime green; I just personally love the color combo. Nothing screams, “Be Happy! It’s spring” more than this duo.
Such a cute idea. I LOVE this. Thanks for sharing!

I love the fun Spring colors. These are so adorable. I love a good rice crispy treat. I like to dip half of one in melted chocolate and decorate with sprinkles!
