I’m the definition of average height. I’m technically 5’6″, but I’ve been telling people I’m 5’7″ (and when someone’s particularly gullible, I’ll go as tall as 5’8″) since my pageant days. To try and cover up my bald-faced lies, I’m always searching for pants that make me look and/or feel taller. These self tie palazzo pants are one of my favorite pairs ever! They’re wide-legged, under $25, and perfect for the holidays! Most importantly, they can be worn as high up on your waist as you like, lending the facade of longer legs. They’re also shockingly well constructed for $22 and versatile enough for both work and play!
If you’ve never worn palazzo pants before, you’re in for a real treat. They feel like pajama pants while looking like expensive work slacks. As far as styling goes, I like pairing these Shein palazzo pants with fitted turtlenecks and block heel sandals. If you’re not sure what kind of shirt to wear with palazzo pants in the warmer months, any neutral camisole or fitted blouse would look great. It’s tough to go the oversized route in these pants, though, since it’s easy to spot extra fabric– even underwear. But hey, that’s what Spanx are for, right? Head to the bottom of this post for full outfit details!

If you’re still not sold on the palazzo trend, check out this post for more ways to wear palazzo pants! I know Christmas is coming up quick, but these would look pretty darn fabulous on New Year’s Eve! What are you plans looking like this year?
