How is it May already?! April flew by in the strangest way– somehow both endless and over in a blink. One bright spot? I stumbled on a handful of affordable Amazon finds that quickly became everyday staples. From home decor upgrades to skincare-friendly essentials, these 8 budget-friendly picks from April are all under $50– and each one is still earning its keep daily in our household!

1. Realistic Silk Hydrangeas– These faux hydrangeas are next level. The blooms, stems, and leaves all look shockingly real (even up close), and they’re washable in cold water, too. I grabbed two sets of the blue for our entryway and plan to order more for our living room. They’re an easy way to freshen up any space without the upkeep of fresh flowers.
2. Knit Midi Dress– This knit midi is the perfect “put-together but still nap-worthy” dress. It’s ultra-soft, surprisingly flattering, and comes in a bunch of colors. I’m loving the apricot, but the light blue is calling my name, too. Sizing runs true to size– I ordered my usual and love the fit.
3. Portable White Noise Machine– This compact sound machine has become a must-have for travel. It clips easily onto a purse, suitcase, or stroller and produces a surprisingly powerful range of white noise. If you (or your kids) need ambient sound to sleep, this little gadget is a lifesaver. It makes a great baby shower or new parent gift, too!
4. Remote Control Page Turner– This hands-free page turner is one of those genius gadgets you didn’t know you needed. It’s perfect for avid Kindle users and/or anyone who likes to be cozy and hands-free while reading. Would make a fantastic gift for Mother’s Day or Father’s Day!
5. Scalloped Cloth Napkins (Set of 4)– These pretty scalloped napkins instantly elevate any tablescape. I’ve seen similar styles at Pottery Barn for $25 per napkin– this entire set is an absolute steal in comparison. The blue is perfect for summer entertaining, but they come in other colors, too. 6. Refillable Sunscreen Applicator– If you’re gearing up for warmer weather, these mess-free sponge applicators are a game-changer. Just fill with your favorite sunscreen and dab away– no greasy hands required. They’re perfect for kids (I’m gifting a few to our Florida nieces and nephews) but great for adults, too.
7. Compostable Face Towels– Not technically new, but I had to include them. I’ve been using these oversized disposable face towels for months, and they’re my go-to during seasonal skin flare-ups… like right now. They’re gentle, hygienic (especially if you share towels with your spouse), and fully compostable. I keep a pack in our guest bathroom, too!
8. Ruffle Tee– I’m officially obsessed with this ruffle tee. It’s lightweight, comfy, and the ruffled sleeves make it feel like more than just a basic shirt. It looks adorable with both casual shorts and work bottoms, too. I wear a size medium for an oversized fit, but size down if you want something more fitted.
