I love experimenting with new makeup and hair products, but I’m very cautious when it comes to skincare. I’ve got sensitive oily combination skin that’s prone to both acne and rosacea, especially in the winter, so ingredients matter. A lot. That being said, I was super excited to find this delivery of rose-infused skintreats from Pixi Beauty at my mom’s house after flying home for my brother’s wedding. Not only is Pixi Beauty one of my favorite cruelty-free brands, I’ve always been very interested in the benefits of rose extracts in skincare. In fact, I started making my own rose water a few years ago, and I’ve been hooked on its soothing and hydrating benefits ever since. Plus, having good-smelling skin is never a bad thing!

If you’ve got dry sensitive skin that needs a boost, especially during these brutal transitional months, I’m rounding up all my favorite rose-infused skincare products from Pixi Beauty in today’s post. Keep reading for my honest thoughts on each!

1. Pixi Rose Cream Cleanser, $18

This rose cream cleanser is a dream come true for dry skin and is one of the best Pixi products I’ve ever used. Made with mud, rose, avocado, chamomile, and aloe vera, Pixi Rose Cream Cleanser is a great daily cleanser, even for super sensitive skin like mine. It leaves my face feeling clean and refreshed without any redness, excess dryness, or irritation. Plus, it smells delightful, too!

2. Pixi Rose Tonic, $15

I have dry, oil combination skin that’s prone to both acne and rosacea, so I have to be really careful with toners and tonics. Avoiding harsh chemicals without compromising efficacy is the name of the game. Formulated with rose and elderflower, this pretty pink tonic helps tone, balance, and calm skin while minimizing redness. I’ve been using Pixi Rose Tonic in the morning and at night after cleansing, and my skin’s been feeling hydrated and refreshed while looking balanced and even-toned, which is substantial given the current weather conditions here in the midwest.

3. Pixi Rose Ceramide Cream, $24

I’ve been on the hunt for a new moisturizer, so I was particularly excited to try out Pixi Rose Ceramide Cream. It’s infused with rose flower and rosemary oil and formulated with antioxidant-rich plant extracts and ceramides to lock in intense moisture. Even for someone like me with intense dry and sensitive skin, there’s little to not love about this rose-infused cream. It smells like a dream, is reasonably priced, and leaves my skin feeling smoother and more supple without leaving behind any oily residue.

4. Pixi Rose Oil Blend, $24

I just turned 30, so any products tagged with “youth preservation” are immediate attention grabbers. Made with rose and pomegranate oils, Pixi Skintreats Rose Oil Blend helps protect, nourish, and strengthen even the driest skin. I’ll be honest, though– I had no idea how to actually use this oil before checking online. I’ve been mixing in few drops to my Rose Ceramide Cream before applying in the morning and night ever since, and I love how my skin feels after using it. It is a little pricey, but a little goes a long way, which is nice.

Also, I typically like to keep my skincare routine as quick and easy as possible, but you can also massage 2-3 drops of this Pixi Beauty rose oil blend directly onto cleansed, toned skin as an emergency measure to replenish lost moisture. Works like a charm!

5. Pixi Rose Caviar Essence, $24

Made with rose and grape seed oil, Pixi Rose Caviar Essence serum is formulated to hydrate and restore skin’s brightness. After cleansing and toning, I’ve been pressing this serum-essence gently onto my skin and neck and allowing it to absorb. I’m from Florida, and after moving to the midwest, my naturally oily skin completely dried out. I’ve noticed a pretty serious improvement in my skin’s suppleness since I started using this product, which was about two weeks ago. Overall, it feels nice, dries quickly, and helps tackle and relieve dry spots quickly.

6. Pixi Rose Flash Balm, $24

Whenever I’m feeling a little extra tired, I give Pixi Rose Flash Balm a go. A primer, moisturizer, and mask in one, it’s labeled as “the ultimate pick-me-up for tired, lackluster skin.” I prefer the Rose Ceramide Cream as a moisturizer, but as a primer and mask, I don’t disagree. The formula is oil-free, quick absorbing, and leaves my skin feeling so soft, so supple, and so hydrated, especially on mornings where I could use a few more hours of sleep.

7. Pixi Rose Glow Mist, $15

Pixi Hydrating Milky Mist is one of my “holy grail” winter skincare products, and I carry it with me everywhere. Needless to say, I had high hopes for this Pixi Rose Glow Mist, too. Although it doesn’t feel quite as hydrating, I love that it’s equally lightweight and infused with 7 types of Rose Flower extracts and antioxidants, which’ve given my skin a noticeable glow. Plus, I like that it can be used to effectively set makeup, and you can’t beat the smell.

8. Pixi Makeup Melting Cleansing Cloths, $10

Makeup wipes are an integral part of my evening beauty routine. As much as I like using Pixi Makeup Melting Cleansing Cloths, I can’t really say there’s anything special about them. Aside from their smell and pretty pink packaging, they’re pretty standard. They do get the job done, though, so I’m still a fan– just not enough of a fan to trade in my stash of Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes.

I’m also not totally convinced you can actually purchased the rose oil-infused Makeup Melting Cleansing Cloths in store yet. In the meantime, though, you can purchase this pack of classic cleaning cloths with pink packaging just about anywhere!
