Sometimes a girl find a dress that just unconditionally makes her happy. This yellow off-the-shoulder gem is one of my personal happy-makers. I’m a huge advocate for affordable fashion, so naturally I like its $25 price tag, and I also love the cut, style, and (most importantly) the color. It’s impossible for me to not smile at least once when I look at this dress in the mirror. Plus, it gave me a reason to finally buy a lemon print handbag. I’m usually the world’s biggest pineapple fan (and don’t worry, I still am), but I’m really falling in love with lemons this year for some reason– probably thanks to Kate Spade and J.Crew. Again, this yellow off-the-shoulder cocktail dress is under $25, my go-to cat eye sunglasses are $12 (and I love them so much that I own them in every available color), and my lemon print handbag is $40 at Kohl’s… so after whatever discounts you can find online, it should cost somewhere between $20-$40. Oh, and you may remember these fabulous leather wedges from this casual denim look a few posts ago. They’re on sale for $95, which I would ordinarily say is way too much to spend on a pair of shoes. These Italian beauties, however, are worth every penny, and they look phenomenal with shorts, mini skirts, and dresses.

Happy Sunday, y’all! I’m looking forward to getting back on a regular blogging schedule this week. For those of y’all who’ve been readers for a while, you know that my posting schedule has been erratic for the past few months… and I’m so sorry about that! Ever since Kyle and I moved back from Maine, we’ve just been in constant limbo, and it’s made routines really difficult to follow. For example, I still don’t have an office (or a closet) set up, and I dig through a storage room full of boxes every time I need an accessory or a photo prop.
